Excellent discussion with Dr. Augustine. I would like to say one thing that what the Israelis are doing is the only option they have. Secondly, when you are fighting a war your only aim is the victory. You cannot stop war on the basis of how many enemy soldiers you have eliminated compared to your own casualties.
2. Security of the country is the most important thing, therefore, there should be no compromise.
3. I don't agree that the Hamas cannot be defeated. It can be. In the western world some people are trying to discourage the Israelis, therefore, they have built this narrative. Had we been there what would have been our reaction.
4. Also note that if Israel finishes the war without eliminating all enemies then it will be a suicidal step.
5. Please also note that Mr. Rajiv Gandhi called back the IPKF from Sri Lanka without finishing the LTTE and the result is before us.
6. With regards to the general elections it is true that opponents tried their best to stop the BJP but failed but they will continue their habit of creating hurdles for the government wherever possible.

One point we all must remember is that, whether it is a person, family, organisation, society, any administration, in real life there will be max 80% achievements (good) , next 15% will have faults and provides opportunity for improvement, the last 5% is so difficult to change, improve.......this is jsut life and it applies to us all. Sadly, we only focus on the last 20%.....we can change our thought process.....and help where we can.
