PFT Slow Vital Capacity 2013

This video demonstrates how to prepare a patient to perform a Slow Vital Capacity pulmonary function test and highlights some key elements that should be achieved to meet the American Thoracic Standards.

Please note that you need three good tests and that the largest two SVC volumes must be within 150 ml of each other or 5% of the largest SVC to meet ATS criteria.
