I've done one hyro dip cup so far using the Marabu paints on a painted cup. It came out beautifully. I didn't think there was enough color on it so I cleaned up the water a bit, added more Marabu and re-dipped it and it was exactly as I envisioned. So you can dip more than once. I then coated it with coats of BT. Wicked easy and I got a beautiful cup!
I tried hydro dipping with spray paint over the weekend and was very discouraged how it turned out. But this is a technique and product i would love to try!
I've never tried this method but I've also never been a big fan of this style personally. Your tutorial was awesome though and I may have to try it now.
