Your homeschool library book hauls are probably my favorite videos. I always get so many fantastic ideas! I'm putting several of these on hold. I'd love to see more about strewing. I realize I'm probably overthinking the whole thing. 😏 I've set up our homeschool schedule to where we're on for 3 months (1 CM term), then off for a month, year round. April is our first break, and I'm planning to try out some strewing ideas.
I will be looking into some of those engineering books for my son. He loves building things and is very mechanically minded. And I agree, it is so hard to find engineering things for kids under 10. I wish more people/companies would come out with things for his age range.
My librarian’s like us because funding works by check-outs! 😂 Fun seeing your homeschooling haul. I’m feeling a bit of the “end of the year slump” as we school mostly Sept-early June. I need a little poke to finish strong! 😅
Oh I’d like a follow up for those Canadian resources! I was lost with the Ambleside Canadian list as to what shop for first! Would love a book to slowly soak up over a year or a few :)
My son just read My Side of The Mountain by Jean Craighead George and now he wants all the survival books. We got the Pocket Guide to the outdoors by her too from the library and I’m pretty sure there is a stick hut being built in our woods currently. We love our local library for helping to expand curiosity on certain subjects. Do you have any recommendations for cookbooks, informational books or websites on celiac diet? My 11 year old nephew was just diagnosed with celiac disease and type 1 diabetes. He spends some time at our house so hoping to learn more. Thanks!
I was wondering where you got your hoop earrings from!? If you don't mind me asking. It looks like the top of the hoop is rounded and the bottom is thinner or flattened.
Usborne has a kid engineer series “Working with” and then several titles
I always love your library hauls. Thanks for sharing, Chantel!
Glad you enjoy them, Crystal!
We are doing oceans in a month or so and this was great. We use DK for history but didn't think about the science side, thanks!

Love these videos! Pulling up my library account to put all of the ones I think we might like on our list! ❤

One of our favorite books while studying sea creatures: The deep! : wild life at the ocean's darkest depths.
These are my favorite videos!! I sure hope your new library is just as amazing.
