We've had 7. BEST DOGS EVER!
I have no wealth to manage, but I do pay for the PBS channel. Whenever I'm watching the requisite three advertisements, I hope I'll get to see the greyhounds. I cry "Yes!" out loud if it comes on. I adore this little piece of artwork. If possible, please pass on my appreciation to the artist. I like their other work too, but the greyhounds are transcendent.
We're on our fourth and fifth retired racers adoption. Wonderful family members!
Count me in on that too!! Have been involved with retired racers since 1991 and I’ve had five at a time so that’s a lot of Greyhounds we’ve adopted and fostered many. Finally got rid of racing in the state of Florida. We’re going to be fostering Irish Greyhounds this fall. The best breed in the world I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Greyt commercial! ❤️🐾 These noble athletes make wonderful companions upon retirement. I’ve adopted three ex-racing greyhounds over the past 20 years.
so glad I got involved in greyhound rescue
even more glad I helped shut down this disgusting industry
They aren't athletes, they don't retire, they are a commodity of the racing/betting industry
It’s been said, “Greyhounds are like potato chips, hard to just have one.” We have fostered 14 retired racers. Thankfully the track got ‘retired’ as well. Love Greyhounds.❤
Thank God we’re not the only ‘crazies’ falling over 5 sighthounds on a daily basis…and wouldn’t have it any other way 😊
Retired greyhounds rock! Love your commercial!
Rescued greyhounds rock. Only pro racing apologists for this disgusting and deadly industry use the word retired.
Fabulous! ❤❤🐾🐾
Awesome!!!!
Love it. Does Edward James sponsor greyhound adoption? If so, I'll hire 'em!
every time I see this one I sing *didn’t I do it for you*
"retired racers" is a great term in the commercial and very accurate. Greyhound "rescuers" in the description of the video is inaccurate.
actually...greyhounds ARE rescued from an abusive disgusting industry
glad it is almost over in the US
I ran a greyhound RESCUE for 4 years in FL. Rescue is accurate. Exploitation is always wrong.

Oh ya mean like the ones that exploited people's pockets at the expense of Greyhounds having nothing to retire from...Indeed
Ignorant liars that hate love and what that is and looks like. Sad for you people...Were all sorry you wernt loved like greys are and simply jealous of having a life you never had.
That's RETIRED greyhounds, not rescued. The correct term is retired for racer greyhounds. I'm very proud of my greyhounds racing careers and thankful for those who loved them before me. Now, if only they would share the couch a bit more.
"rescued" from a sick abusive industry
so happy it's almost OVER in the US
They don't choose a career and they don't retire, they survive. Are you proud that your dogs risked their life and health every time they raced? Shame on you!
Rescued is the correct term. The injuries both physical and emotional are horrible. I ran a RESCUE, they definitely did not "retire!"
Indeed...any word rescue comes from a place of ignorance not knowledge understanding or love.
They love running and racing anyone that has any time with them doing so sees THAT not the weak lies by those believing in rescues they are rescuing themselves by pretending there is something righteous about rescuing something from its life
@@mybrat8044@mybrat8044 well having volunteered at a greyhound rescue for 14 years I have literally seen thousands of ex racers and I'm not ignorant about the UK racing industry. Loving to run is not the same as loving to race, they don't catch prey and have no idea how many of them get injured or killed speeding around dangerously configured oval tracks.
