Spring is coming soon I hope …. I hope to see my grandnieces in late summer…they live abroad. I have some Disney print ….can make a bag or them to carry their toys , books when they sleep overnight at their grandparents. This is too cute 🥰.

Oh! It seems very obvious when I see you do it, but it never occurred to me to clip the curves before stitching. Thanks for that!
Another technique is more stretch fabric should be underneath. In case of same fabric, it’s the one with more curve. (It’s almost on bias grain). Because the upper layer gonna got “push” by the pressure foot. And if the more stretchy layer is on top, it gonna be too much stretch and be askew. I don’t know about home sewing machines though, it’s might not be much problem. But how to feed the fabrics correctly is very important if you uses an industrial machine like me. It’s also doesn’t have free arm function.

I’m glad to hear this was easy for you to sew. I’ll try again but this is one of the most difficult bags I have ever tried (and I’m an experienced sewer). I found the pace of the video far too fast. It took me two days just to keep going back time and time again just to get the fabric and measurement requirements. I have never paused a video as much as I had to with this one. Then going back over the demos again and again. I’m going to try once more because the first one went in the trash after about 4 days.
