Hi, Am travelling to kualalampur, will stay for 2 days there, then am planning to go to phuket for 2 days , then again i will come back to kuala lampur for 2 days. Will there any problem if enter twice malaysia?
thanks, I've been sharing my recent experiences on your channel. Here's one for Malaysia in May this year: Filled MDAC and selected departure as the 29th day excluding the day of arrival because it's day 1 in Malaysia when you enter. Booked an onward ticket for day 15. Officer asked about the return ticket and where I was staying, i just booked hotel for 1 night and gave printouts of it. I didn't disclose my Airbnb booking for 28 days to avoid being questioned. He asked me for the remaining days and I said I'll extend the hotel stay if i like that place else I'll book somewhere else. He stamped my passport without writing anything on it. I stayed in Airbnb and exited on the last day with 6 hours left. While exiting, there were fewer people in line and I was expecting boat loads of questions, when i presented my passport weirdly his computer stopped working and i was asked to meet a different officer beside him, I proceeded and she asked what was i doing in KL and where am I going next, i mentioned Singapore and that I'm a traveller (not tourist to be specific), she asked for Singapore visa ( multiple entry 2 years visa), stamped and returned my passport. I'm 28, solo with glasses (definitely helps) and confident with the i don't care if you deny entry look + calmness on my face, Singapore visa definitely helped ease her anxiety in my opinion combined with MDAC departure date.
This is second time of the Year I've entered malaysia. First time, chennai to Kuala lumpur....No question was asked...RT date was mentioned on passport. Left malaysia in 2 days ...vent to vietnam... On 13th of July 2024, I've entered Kuala Lumpur from Trivandrum....at Trivandrum airport, immigration officer asked many question, and also called another officer because my birth place was maharashtra and passport is from Bengaluru (as we relocated 16 years before) it was storage...later stamped... But at Kuala Lumpur, on arrival card I've mentioned return date 4th Aug, he just asked ne when I'm going to return, I said around month end. Then he stamped the passport without mentioning the R T date on passport. I'm 43 years old (just for your information) I hope this information may help someone ❤🙏
well, thank you for sharing your experience. It is up to the immigration officer whether they want to specify the RT date or not. Anyhow, people fill out MDAC form that already has the return date.
Of course some officers are corrupt but in my case we are two friends crossed the border via woodland check point. we forgot to fill the arrival card but officers gave us time to fill the form and stamped our passport. so it was very smooth.
I had been to Malaysia twice this year. I didn't face any issues. It was my 5th time to Malaysia since 2019. Only Indian immigration officer asked me "Why do you go to Malaysia often?" I replied " it's my favourite country and I will visit often in the future. More over it's visa free" he smiled and stamped. Just be confident at the immigration counter. In Malaysia nothing they asked. Just my hotel reservations and return that's it
Thanks for the info. I am travelling from Delhi To Phuket through KL with 13 hours layover (reaching 7 AM and leaving KL 7 PM same day) and going out with my wife and son. What should I enter MDAC form as dates are concerned and do I will face any issues. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
You can fill out the MDAC within 72 hours before your scheduled departure. If you try to submit it earlier, it won't work or will remain grayed out after you enter your date of entry. It must be done within the 72-hour window, and you can complete it before leaving for the airport. Secondly, enter the date when you leave for Phuket from India, as you will arrive in Malaysia on the same day. If your flight is scheduled to land in Malaysia after midnight or the next day, then use the next day's date.- This is as per your flight itinerary I'm curious why they implemented MDAC for transit passengers. It's not clearly stated anywhere if those transiting through Malaysia need to fill out this form.
Traveling from Langkawi Island to Singapore! There are several flight options available. You can fly from Langkawi International Airport (LGK) to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) with Malaysia-based airlines such as Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, or Malindo Air. But, you must have Singapore evisa beforehand
Sir please answer my question I am travelling with my wife I already visit malaysia two times But for my wife this is her first international trip and she dont know english so can i help her in immigration counter...koi dikkat to nahi hogi ....
Hi, I am traveling on next next week and return date is on 29th. Do they write early departure date on passport? and Do I have to Carry Cash or Debit card is enough? Please help me
Hello sir, just wanted to know that when the Malaysia visa exemption policy will be over after December 31st and If I apply for a Malaysia evisa after that, can I show the entry and exit tickets to and from a different country? For example I am traveling to Vietnam first and then Malaysia.. After that I will be going to Phuket. So while applying for the evisa can I upload the entry flight ticket showing from phu quoc (Vietnam) and onward ticket to Phuket (Thailand)? Or is it necessary to show the round trip tickets to and from India only?
Myself your very old subscriber & admirer as well. Your painstaking work is no doubt, of immense value to any prospective traveller, especially those from India. Now, I intend to enter Malaysia from Singapore overland, on visa exemption, very soon. Had been there many a times earlier, last year, but always entered using an evisa. This time intend to avail the visa exemption facility. Is it advisable? Please investigate & revert back with your opinion. Myself, over 48 years old.
That should be fine since you have previous travel history to Malaysia. Just make sure your documents are in order. I'm sharing this rare case just to highlight a trend, if it happens repeatedly. But I never heard negative things about Malaysian immigration except deportation cases where people misuse the tourist visa and they are issued NTL. Have a wonderful and a safe trip.
Hi. First of all your videos are helping us in many ways, specially those who are travelling abroad. If you just do me a favour, I am travelling with my family to Malaysia in August with fresh passports. Since we have no travel history at all. Is there any chance that our immigration get denied or entry may not given by immigration department. After looking this video I am bit scared. Since all my return tickets, hotel booking etc. has been done. It would be very nice of you, If you answer my query. I am 48 years old, going with my wife and two kids, one is 18 years old and second is 12 years old. Thanks in advance.
No need to worry. This is one of the rarest cases that I have shared. Just make sure your documents are in order. The officials are polite. I'm sharing this rare case just to highlight a trend, if it happens repeatedly. I never heard negative things about Malaysian immigration except in deportation cases where people misuse the tourist visa which they are doing to safeguard their country. Have a great trip.
Recently my brother visited Malaysia and while getting the immigration stamp they have mentioned the RT date with black pen above the stamp as he was staying at holiday inn express hotel and even during his visit he spent a lot and paid tips wherever he travels around kuala lumpur now he got such a bad experience he told me he will never going to visit malaysia. I know because of some Indians with wrong reasons goes to these countries for illegal migration work etc , but one thing i come to know that these countries they think of Indians as inferior race , my brother got such a negative impression.
I travelled alone to Malaysia in March 24. At The immigration they asked me for all documents which I produced. They took some more time than usual and My visa was granted yet passport was stamped with RT date too, I left Malaysia in the RT date. I am 42 though so they are doing this regardless of age...
People should carry all the necessary documents and relevant money otherwise no use of blaming immigration of any country. Many people get misled because many people say nothing was checked on immigration.

Well, they write RT date (Return date) on the passport. Carry some cash in USD or ringgits and remaining in the cards.
