People need to realize that every individual needs to hear different things and articulated in different ways. It is the task of the coach to understund what his fighter needs. In this specific case, I would find it really strange if the coach, who is her life partner btw, did not understand his fighter. The probability of him understanding Aspen compared to a UFC casual knowing her is so much higher, so why are everybody arguing. Leave him alone

But whatever momentum their was at the end of that 4th round was completely deflated by her coach. I thought that was negative.

He was frustrated, probably with reason due to her lack of output, but he showed it too much and it wasn't very productive in the end. He should probably understand that his words were also freezing her, not freeing her and change the approach. Not sure though.

I hope the snowflake who labelled this video “controversial” actually reads all of the comments.

Please can someone explain where the controversial part is? It doesn't explain in the description. I just watched the whole video but I must have missed it.

Where is the controversy? I watched it like 10 times. Seems like standard cornerman stuff

I think it was good cornering up until the end of round 3. The 'advice' after round 4 just seemed more like the coach was venting his frustration. He told her she needed a finish (which was obvious) but didn't really explain how to get one except by saying to throw caution to the wind
