i think aespa's song are really hard to cover because of their unique tones compare to other sm artist songs their song can be easily cover ( not all though ) but aespa's sound is really hard to cover because sometimes it sounds awkward when people covering their songs. Tbvh, I think media spread it make it confused. Generation in K-pop depending on how long the trend but along with real impact. Which is why not long after SNSD (2007 line), few years later 3rd generation born because 3rd generation really have many many groups that bring different impact, some of them even also neck to neck with 2nd generation (both boys & girls, but girl groups seems more powerful there). 3rd generation really have a lot of trending groups, the competition was totally on fire especially girl group (and adding some from 2nd generation, make it more fire), maybe because it was the first year of Hallyu going more global. 4th generation however have a long journey more than others, so far. Although not that a lot trending compared to 3rd, some from 4th generation also still leading & I haven't seen any real declined of their hype, trends, impact. Tbvh, I think media spread it make it confused. Generation in K-pop depending on how long the trend but along with real impact. Which is why not long after SNSD (2007 line), few years later 3rd generation born because 3rd generation really have many many groups that bring different impact, some of them even also neck to neck with 2nd generation (both boys & girls, but girl groups seems more powerful there). 3rd generation really have a lot of trending groups, the competition was totally on fire especially girl group (and adding some from 2nd generation, make it more fire), maybe because it was the first year of Hallyu going more global. 4th generation however have a long journey more than others, so far. Although not that a lot trending compared to 3rd, some from 4th generation also still leading & I haven't seen any real declined of their hype, trends, impact.
