Ashok leyland मतलब ताकत और भरोसा, देशका प्यार TATA, Eicher और Benz भी अच्छेही है l पर भारत में लेलँड की डिमांड सबसे ज्यादा है और उसका कारण भरोसा है l आप टाटा और लेलँड की एकही वर्ग की गाडी की तुलना करे तो, पॉवर, मायलेज, मेन्टेनन्स में लेलँड काफी आगे रहती है l मैं महाराष्ट्रमें कोंकण में रहता हूं, पहाडी इलाखा होने के कारण यहा चालनेवाली सभी गव्हरमेंट बसे लेलँड की ही होती है l जब डबल क्लच का दौरा था तब इन बसोंका गियर चेंजिंग इतना आसन की ज्यादातर ड्रॉयव्हर क्लच का इस्तेमाल बहुत कम करते थे l यह लेलँड में ही संभव था l
