chouchou merged syrups.が音楽を通じて表現するのは「孤独の中にある美しさ」。
単純に明暗なものを表現するものでなく、安易な喜怒哀楽を表現しているものでもなく、それは人の心の中にある汚れた感情なのかもしれない。。。
彼女達にとっての美しさとは何であるかという答えがこの作品で感じることが出来るはずである。

7年前、高校生やった頃にどハマりしてたな。地元のライブフェスで生でシュシュ見れて感動したの今でも覚えてる。

This is amazing, can't wait to for the album release!
feels like all the parts compliment themselves really well. vocals and accompanying harmonies are nice, lead guitar is sweet (props for the chicken picking part), bass helps form the song, and drummer did a nice job writing his parts. all in all, it seems like this band knows how to write music with each other, which is something I seem to find exceedingly rare in today's rock music; as opposed to relying on someone else's part to help their own, every member seemed to have complete freedom in their writing process.
at least, that's what it sounds like to me. lovely jam.

From a great ep in 2013 to a near perfect ep in 2014, chouchou merged syrups. come back in 2015 with another amazing release, but this time a full album. Goooood stuff.

I've been trying to find them. But I can't. They don't have public social medias or that's what I thought
surprisingly, this is the first band I find with guitar riffs resembling Ling Tosite Sigure so much. I listen to their clepsydra album and found track 踊る、そし to have a very SIgure vibe. It took me back to the old Sigure albums like #4 and Inspiration is dead.
Yeap. A lot of the songs from 'yesterday, 12 films later.' actually do feel very LingTosite. 何度も and scapegoat_worldend for instance. Another band that I found giving off similar Sigure vibes is そこに鳴る (soko ni naru).
Leap250 I can't agree with you about soko ni naru. They're recommended in a reddit thread for similar sound like Sigure, but their sound is more on the pop rock side, especially within the chorus. The melodic guitar also does not sound like anything Sigure would ever do. I don't know how to put it. but to me Sigure's guitar more messy (in a very good way), dirty and raw.. lol. :>
Could be the same subreddit that I often go to xD I'd agree that soko ni naru does sound "cleaner" than Sigure and chouchou merged. I just found them similar in a "feeling" kind-of thing (lol) as opposed to them having a similar sound. It's all good though, and yeah, more cms. love :D
Guess its the general mix of Pop, Indie Rock and Math Rock that makes them sound similiar. Also the shared female and male vocals. Soko ni naru are more restrained than Ling Toshite Sigure tho. They miss the screams and high vocals and the guitar work doesnt get as wild and crazy. However the drummer of Soko ni naru does some unexpected stuff from time to time (like double bass parts)
Seriously, makes me wonder if there's even bands like Sigure. Sigure is just perfect in every way and the music is really complex. I found this similar band called HaKU but it has mediocre repeating guitar riffs.

Really great vibe coming from this. It's a shame how the vocals sound a little out in the chorus. Otherwise, she has a really nice voice. Just needs to know her limits.

個人的にはよく分からんことしてたDemoとかプラナリアとかの時の方が圧倒的に好き
