@@luigiwiiUU really ? I felt that the message of self control was implemented well and the interactive aspect of the episode added intensity and weight to an already solid story.
I felt like the ending where he got on the train with his mother and died both in the past and in present day was related to the idea of the your soul making the decisions as mentioned by Colin in his home. The idea that Stefan's soul goes back in past and dies with his mother on the train like he always felt he should have, leaving his body in present time empty (dead) in the counselling session. Which in my opinion influences the fact that counselling never helped him, it was his dads decision and it wasn't working which ultimately lead to his death during one of his sessions because the only way he felt he could make up for his mothers death, was to actually go back and die with her.
I agree that Netflix is the technology in the episode but we definitely are not in control. The paths you can chose are varied but limiting and its like what Stephan himself says in the movie; he took out parts of his game to streamline it and give the player illusion of control. SPOILERS, obviously lol (tl;dr I found 6 endings, getting the last one after seeing all the others shows an extra scene) So, all of the more "concrete" and "definitive" endings I've gotten so far are: 1- Stefan goes to jail after killing his dad. This itself has a few variations depending on how you handle dad's body. Bandersnatch will either get 2.5 stars or 5 stars if Stefan managed to complete the game in time after killing dad or someone, Colin or Mr. Thakur, will show up at Stefan's house. Also, Tuckersoft will either go into administration or be liquidated. 2- Instead of going to see Dr. Haynes with his dad, Stefan will follow Colin and ask for help. He goes to Colin's home and meets his girfriend, Kitty, and baby daughter, Pearl. They both take LSD no matter what you choose and discuss the idea of time, parallel dimensions and PACS, Program and Control system. I feel it's important to take both options of who jumps here because one leads to a direct ending where Bandersnatch is abruptly finished and isn't given a rating, and another choice leads further down the rabbit hole but with Colin missing. 3- One ending where Stefan is aware he is in a Netflix program and has a fight with Dr. Haynes and his dad, leading to him being dragged out of the clinic aware of his "friend from the future", i.e. us as the watchers/players. 4- Another ending where Stefan is still aware of being in a Netflix show and tries to leap out the window as Dr. Haynes is about to fight him, but the 4th wall breaks and we see the filming crew try to snap Stefan/Mike out of it. 5- Leading from one variation of the the first ending I listed, Stefan managed to complete Bandersnatch after killing his dad and it gets 5 stars and high accolades, but we're shown a modern day news report about the discovery of Stefan murdering his father, Bandersnatch being pulled off shelved and him going to jail. We see an adult Pearl following her father's footsteps in game design recreating Bandersnatch as the Netflix show we're experiencing, but also that she is falling victim to it's same power it had over Stefan. Credits roll throughout this ending but it goes back to the decision point screen instead of Netflix popping out to load the next episode of Black Mirror, which was for me, ironically, Metalhead lol 6- After experiencing all of the other endings, Stefan steps through the mirror as young Stefan and becomes aware of where his dad kept his Rabbit. He unlocks the safe using TOY and places the Rabbit back under his bed. He finds it before his mother leaves and goes with her on the train, both of them dying as it derails, causing adult Stefan to die in Dr. Hayne's office. The first time I got ending 6 after my first "playthrough" the credits started playing and Netflix popped out to play the next video. BUT, after my third run to try to experience as many other endings as I could see, there's a scene after doing ending 6 last where Stefan is back on the bus going to Tuckersoft but instead listens to the Bandersnatch demo tape rather than music. The whole scene of him on the bus plays but with old internet dial up beeping playing instead.
Ranmaru Richu I got all endings within 2 runs, I got confused asf when I finished it first and then he is listening to a internet dial up. I never got the option to kill Collin with the vase like item, only got the suicide plot. Also I never got the tv screen with the person with the balloon with sharks in the water beneath him? Might have 2 give it another run
i think the episode should be infinite to really signify that the technology controls you, and people would just keep playing and thinking they're in control making choices but they are the ones basically trapped playing looking for an ending. however fully ending it is understandable.
The whole acid trip sequence was so well done I thought. Not just the authentic looking visuals, but the music and Colin's monologue within the context of what we already knew about this world up to that point made it particularly pertinent.
@@MegKBaker Don't bother, youll get basically the same ending without any further reveals. I screwed up inputting the code twice due to my remote, so I endes up fast forwarding through the movie the same night to finally get it right and when I found out it does nothing I was so mad.
Bandersnatch was absolutely incredible. Genuinely loved it, so well performed, written, delivered, etc. Great Review also bud, Definitely a "5 Stars Out of 5" ;)
You failed to mention that after accepting the job offer and getting a 0 out of 5 stars review, he tells his dad that he'll just "try again". We get flashbacks of what we just saw from the beginning of the movie(which Collin refers to as invitations to the past to make another decision). Everything is the same up until he meets Collin at Tuckersoft and Collin asks "We've met before?" Stephan says no, but is able to identify that Collin's game Nosedyve(Which is an easter egg of a Black Mirror Episode Nosedive) has a buffer error due to the sprites eyeballs overloading the video memory. Collin is surprised and asks how he knew that. Stephan says "I just did." THIS is huge because we as the viewer realize that not only did we as the viewer go back in time, so did Stephan. Now we must differentiate what we saw as fact or just flashback from another universe. For example, Stephan remembers that Collin jumped out of the window when Kitty(Collin's wife) asks him if he's seen him. The weird thing is Kitty was there but has no memory of ever meeting Stephan. Deep shit.
the white bear symbol is just there because he is a murderer and is being punished for it everyday and by replaying it again and again, we are just torturing him again and again as a form of entertainment for us so yall yes
What a mindfuck experience. After that I gotta admit myself to the Saint Juniper's Medical Practice. 〰Interference〰 Everything's good. I don't have to question the nature of what's happening. I'm content.
Loved it. Watched it with a friend and we had 3 endings i think. Missing the zero score one and the one where the boss dies. So there still are some interations of ruining stefans life ;)
Previously after burying Stefan's dad, Thakur rang the phone asking if the game would be finished tonight and you either answered yes (Colin comes round) or no (Thakur comes round) and either way you kill them and end up in prison. But when trying again, there was no option and Kitty came round saying Colin had gone missing, which was later said as well on the TV.
This was especially weird for me as I remember back in the early 1980's staying with a friend who was designing a game for the Sinclair Spectrum (a game based on the Chinese I Ching divination book) and we took lots of acid and listened specifically to prog albums including Tangerine Dream's Phaedra and Tomita's Bermuda Triangle. This whole thing was like a weird fictionalised flashback for me.
5:28 there is a option. Were you can choose "fight her" or "jump out of window" if you jump out Stefan is in a movie set and is mentioned by his real name but he belives its Stefan not his actual self
I’ve heard a rumor there’s an ending where Kitty (Colin’s wife) is killed by Stephan but I haven’t gotten to that one. I feel like I’ve gotten every other ending.
Grace I did that. Kitty came to the house and asked where Colin is. You have the option to tell her he jumped or say you don’t know where he is. I tried both. She didn’t die either time.
I think that the idea of the “episode” was that you (as much as the character) wasn’t in control. Did anyone wonder the reason of the timer that appears when you got to “make” a choice? When it first appeared, I was like “what will happens if I let it go down without doing anything”? And the answer was that it made a choice by itself. So I thought that, maybe, my intervention was just an illusion to keep me think that I was in control. So I decide to make no decision at all. The results was: (i) I saw playing every possible outcome, but in the end the plot had just one “satisfactory” (mostly for the character) result, he dies in the psychologist's office after decided, in that pass, to go with his mother in the train trip, which crashed killing him and his mother as the other passengers. So, I think that the viewer intervention is just an illusion. The options only gives you the feeling that your choices is relevant but in the end it isn’t. About that, is important to say that this idea was explicit point out in the “episode”. First, when Stefan watches that VHS documentary, an old woman always says that destiny is unchangeable; and in the version of the finale when Stefan makes a top notch game, he tells his employer that the secret of the success was, not how much possible outcome the choices the player made could give (so he did not need to make a bunch of storylines), but that the “choices” given was in fact an illusion, the end was always, invariantly, the same.
I chose to not go with the mom.. which broke my heart.. and the lesson I got was you can't change major events of the past and that he was blaming his dad wrongly
The action scene ending I took as Stefan going insane and assaulting Dr Haynes, then his father barging in to stop Stefan, especially with Stefan screaming at the end seeming like he has lost his mind. He is an unreliable narrator, I doubt that Dr Haynes fought like we saw at all.
I watched the pirate 5 hour download. Like torture, quite painful as you don’t really know choices, and the choices are after they are shown in the ripped version ! Still enjoyed the heck out of this home Computers era. I was there as a kid and it was brilliant.
Same, but I was talking to my brother because we saw it separately and I didn't dial the correct number and he did. Turns out it was the same ending just with a slight difference in scenes.
The ending I got is where you tell him that netflix is controlling him, but at the therapist's office when the fight is about to begin but he tries to jump out of a window but he can't because he's on a film set.
There's a small subtheme about free will (or the illusion thereof) which I found to be super interesting! There are some decisions that you can make while watching - which are important - that have the same outcome no matter which you choose. For example when you either accept or deny the LSD, either way Stefan takes it and proceeds to the suicide scene. I found it interesting that Brooker introduces the illusion of free will to the viewer, but you can only find out after multiple viewings.
The ending where Stefan descends into paranoid schizophrenia (entering PAC into the safe) was amazing in the way the conspiracy all made sense and seemed real to him, formed a consistent set of facts that with a little rewriting of his memories turned his dad and doctor into monsters. Also if you chose Netflix, then to jump out the window, and wonder what's happened to his actor.. is that really Stefan or is Bandersnatch just a memetic-hazard in general :D
main endings/endings that let you go to the credits (spoilers): 1) the fight with the psychologist and his dad dragging him out 2) the fight with the psychologist and stefan finding that he's in a movie/film set 3) PAC ending where stefan finds out (or imagines) that his father was controlling him in an experiment. 4) 5/5 ending where you kill and cut up the dad and stefan gets imprisoned. colin's daughter works on a netflix adaption of it in the future. 5) Toy ending where stefan goes on the train with his mom and dies in the past, causing stefan to die in the future. this is my favorite ending.
the first time i watched it i took the pac ending and the toy ending and neither of them took me to the credits. the fight with his dad and the psychologist ended the episode for me
This is my favourite black mirror story so far, I love how even though we get to make choices, the narrative fucks with us and shows us how little control even we have. White Christmas had a masterful plot twist, San junipero had an excellent juxtaposition on the value of life vs superficial immortality, but I don't think there's a single episode that matches the depth in this episode, and the foreshadowing of the dog digging up the dead dad, at the start was brilliant. This episode really reminds me of Donnie Darko.
Thank you for making this video! It's so hard to tell people that hate this episode because of the choices. But I agree this is briliiant and fhe episode will be so personal.
i remember seeing a theory that the recurrence of the white bear symbol was supposed to signify that this episode is stefan's torture (like victoria's from the white bear episode), especially since every time he woke up he gasped in that exact way that victoria did. in this theory, then, /we're/ the audience from white bear, and we're taking enjoyment in his torture, since every choice leads to a bad ending for stefan.
I believe that Bandersnatch is a concept that in the future many of us will foresee. Not exactly quite from the movie but: Questioningly the reality itself. From what I got from watching it; Stefan was being manipulated by a higher being which is the viewer(us) but even the viewer choices was being manipulated by a higher being. then us. For example when I was in the therapy session with Stefan I told them to pinches ears but the higher being made him choose to bite his nail. In actuality we never had a choice in the movie. The whole point of this movie was to question our reality of it. Is our choices being manipulated by a higher being or do we have free will.
I just watched it once, and I was slightly underwhelmed. I really love Black Mirror but other than the "Netflix is controlling you" bit, it wasn't a commentary on how tech is changing humanity and society like most episodes are
Simone - if you just watch it as an episode then yeh, it plays a lot more like an episode of Twilight Zone rather than Black Mirror but, in my view, that misses the point. We (the viewer) using Netflix was the technology element. Viewed that way, Bandersnatch was a commentary on technology giving us the illusion of control/choice, when in reality, the opposite is true. This is best demonstrated by the cereal choice, which later determines which cereal advert you see. In the same way, when you click on TH-cams main page, you are presented with a choice of videos to watch. However, algorithms have predetermined those choices based on your viewing. The "choice" then is very limited, merely offering you more of the same.
Maybe not tech is changing humanity or society however it does have a similar type of theme to that. Basically the original creator of Bandersnatch murdered his wife when he completed his book, later in the future Stephan decides to recreate Bandersnatch for a video game platform, however most of the games turn out as failures until Stephan breaks down and murders his father and dismembering him. Only then does the game get a good rating then again in the future a woman wants to recreate Bandersnatch for Netflix only for the viewer to take control of her and make her destroy her work because the only way for the next generation of Bandersnatch to be successful, is to murder someone in her life and so on and so forth, the story of Bandersnatch is cursed and anyone who tries to recreate it becomes controlled by the viewer and loses their freewill.
I loved all the Easter eggs in Bandersnatch! The whole choice thing was really cool and it reminded me of Return to House on Haunted Hill it's pretty cool
One ending that I haven't heard so far, is when the game doesn't get released at all, due to Stephan being arrested. This may be the 5th ending that BrainPilot haven't discovered yet.
I have atheory that Stefan is actually a cookie in the game of Bandersnatch and the decisions we make actually affect him said he’s a person in real life. I feel like this gives the episode a deeper meaning and also could possibly make us the villain in that we are creating a literal hell for Stefan simply by playing the game. This is much like Robert Daley in USS Callister, one was arguably the villain I that episode. Imagine if there was an ending where Stefan fights back and is able to take control of the game away from us and back to him.
*spoiler* (just in case anyone hasn’t done multiple endings) The ending I loved is when goes back in time KNOWING his mum is going to die...and he goes with her, to be with her and not to grow old without her absolutely brought a tear to my eye. I thought it was beautiful. An amazing story and one of the best Black Mirror has to offer (San Junipero is still my favourite)
As someone who always picks the good guy choices in choose your own adventure type games and stories picking the bad choices like killing your dad was uncomfortable lol I think that’s also an intentional part of the experience too
It isn't different for everyone, as there are only so many paths that a viewer can follow, and obviously on repeat viewing you can find out all the endings. I wouldn't say the whole decide your adventure aspect is unique- even Stefan is replicating something he's read in Bandersnatch, but the backstory with his mother is possibly the most heart wrenching part. That's only hinted at with the book at the start if you don't slip down the flashback branch of the narrative.
I beg to strongly disagree with the reviwer. I respect and admire the attempt for inovation, but ultimately the episode was neither enteratining nor thought provoking as usual. Too many choices, and too repetitive. As a sequence, I didn't feel care about characters which the the worst thing a piece of art can achieve. At the end, I was relieved it ended. Full mark for efforts, but very low for the whole. I think it would have been better if we had only one or two major choices to make.
I think the fact that you can go back and change things made it feel like there was no consequence to your decisions, I wish every pathway took 1hr 30 to 2hrs and to go back you had to re do the whole thing
Great review. I've only gone through the movie once and I really enjoyed it and I feel like you understood it really well. I'm gonna go through it again tonight but one thing that stood out to me is SPOILER WARNING!!! Even if Stefan finds his bear the mom will miss the scheduled train. So ultimately he blamed himself and his dad over choices that wouldn't have mattered or changed the story either way. Which I think was the point on that ironic black mirror way.
I have already become so suspicious of Black Mirror that in my first watch I chose to accept working at the office three times in a row to see if something different happened (Playtest influence I guess). I also clicked the black margins around the single option NO when Stefan's mother asks him to go with her. I wonder if anyone else did anything out of the box like this. I first got the Netflix ending which was kind of dumb (but funny), but as I kept trying the endings got worse and worse. The whole experience was rather chilling, especially in scenes like the dream about opening the safe and the train ending. It also makes us feel guilty in a way when we choose certain options, for example I loved that ending in which that woman has remade the game in the future and ist's exactly like what we were watching too. My veredict: GENIUS! We might have just witnessed the moment Charlie Booker changed entertainment forever.

What I’m really curious about though is if there’s more than one code
@@vx2876 /r/blackmirror had a dig in to the code and it seems that there's no other codes.
there was an ending where a woman in this age tries to recreate the game and then she breaks her computer
no, she pours tea over her keyboard

I believe she’s Colin’s daughter..

there’s the ending with pearl, like she’s writing the actual episode. that’s the one you’re missing
I think he's missing the one where it's revealed to be a movie set, and the actor playing Stefan confuses himself with the character he's playing.
This episode of Black Mirror was a very bold and innovative move. I really liked it.
anyone else watch it and was so confused but also engrossed in the story and the idea of the whole thing, the choices actually felt real and this is honestly revolutionary in so many ways.
I wouldn't say revolutionize as many philosopher believed in this philosophy that our choices alone is not controlled by our action.
SPOILERS, obviously lol
(tl;dr I found 6 endings, getting the last one after seeing all the others shows an extra scene)
So, all of the more "concrete" and "definitive" endings I've gotten so far are:
1- Stefan goes to jail after killing his dad.
Credits roll throughout this ending but it goes back to the decision point screen instead of Netflix popping out to load the next episode of Black Mirror, which was for me, ironically, Metalhead lol
6- After experiencing all of the other endings, Stefan steps through the mirror as young Stefan and becomes aware of where his dad kept his Rabbit.
Might have 2 give it another run
i think the episode should be infinite to really signify that the technology controls you, and people would just keep playing and thinking they're in control making choices but they are the ones basically trapped playing looking for an ending. however fully ending it is understandable.
ekorobo blew my mind mate
I also hope they come up with additional ending once in a while. Hahaha. Nice exploring.
The whole acid trip sequence was so well done I thought. Not just the authentic looking visuals, but the music and Colin's monologue within the context of what we already knew about this world up to that point made it particularly pertinent.
I also got the ending where he finds out the government is monitoring him all the time with the PAC policy
TheGameFreak did you get the option to input the numbers into the telephone???
@@bbgjiji8592 yeah! I typed in the numbers that he kept mumbling about
Yes but I got the number wrong omg 😭 I'm doing it again tomorrow 👍🏻🤞🏻
@@MegKBaker Don't bother, youll get basically the same ending without any further reveals.
I screwed up inputting the code twice due to my remote, so I endes up fast forwarding through the movie the same night to finally get it right and when I found out it does nothing I was so mad.
Bandersnatch was absolutely incredible. Genuinely loved it, so well performed, written, delivered, etc. Great Review also bud, Definitely a "5 Stars Out of 5" ;)
I got an ending where they were all just actors, but stefan was very confused
i got an ending where stefan listens to a cassette with bandersnatch demo but its only a weird noise

Facts
White Christmas is their best episode to date.
The sound design is amazing in this episode.
100% agree with that!
Deep shit.
Did anyone saw "the end" when he was a child and with his mom on the train and they both die there?
Yep but it felt abit like Donnie darko to me.
No, my friend and I were watching it together and she told me that if he went, that they would both die, so I chose not to go
the white bear symbol is just there because he is a murderer and is being punished for it everyday and by replaying it again and again, we are just torturing him again and again as a form of entertainment for us so yall yes
I rewatched it so many times that I got all the endings. It’s so cool.
Definitely a new experience!
*”I’m defrosting mince!”*
Hands down best review, you’ve earned a sub. Keep up the good work
Thank you! God you enjoyed it!
Dad is a Government Agent is the one he didn't get. As well as breaking the 4th wall when he "jumps out the window"
What a mindfuck experience. After that I gotta admit myself to the Saint Juniper's Medical Practice. 〰Interference〰
Everything's good. I don't have to question the nature of what's happening. I'm content.
Absolutely loved this! Spent a while getting all the endings and seeing all the little variations in the details.
Loved it. Watched it with a friend and we had 3 endings i think. Missing the zero score one and the one where the boss dies. So there still are some interations of ruining stefans life ;)
I got the ending where my phone was not compatible to play Bandersnatch. #BadEnding :''')
I got the Collin is missing one before the other two
This was especially weird for me as I remember back in the early 1980's staying with a friend who was designing a game for the Sinclair Spectrum (a game based on the Chinese I Ching divination book) and we took lots of acid and listened specifically to prog albums including Tangerine Dream's Phaedra and Tomita's Bermuda Triangle. This whole thing was like a weird fictionalised flashback for me.
5:28 there is a option. Were you can choose "fight her" or "jump out of window" if you jump out Stefan is in a movie set and is mentioned by his real name but he belives its Stefan not his actual self
BrainPilot is seriously one underrated channel.
Why isn’t this kind of interactive film a more common thing? I think it’s great. It gets you thinking and makes it even more interesting.
I’ve heard a rumor there’s an ending where Kitty (Colin’s wife) is killed by Stephan but I haven’t gotten to that one. I feel like I’ve gotten every other ending.
I got that one the second time i watched it. You get it if you tell Tucker the game will be finished when he asks near the end of the episode.
I did the same thing and it led me on the path that "it" wanted me to take!! I'm doneeee with this episode getting praisee
I got the ending where you explain what Netflix is and Stefan fights his therapist and later dies in therapy after rewinding time.
Metoo
I watched the pirate 5 hour download. Like torture, quite painful as you don’t really know choices, and the choices are after they are shown in the ripped version ! Still enjoyed the heck out of this home Computers era. I was there as a kid and it was brilliant.
I like the ending where he realize it was Netflix and then realized he was the actor
This was a great review:) I think that interactive movies like this are the future! 😊 it's amazing
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Did anyone have to “call the therapist” and enter a code? I put mine in and the. It ended.
Same, but I was talking to my brother because we saw it separately and I didn't dial the correct number and he did. Turns out it was the same ending just with a slight difference in scenes.
@@antoniogarciarodriguez2611 lame
Got it but failed
I noticed that you also enjoy Lemmino. Not a lot of people know about his music, but it's nice to see you also enjoy his works
That's right! Good spot!
Great review!
I got the ending where Stephan goes back in time and goes with his mom on the train and ends up dying in the present day in his therapists office
I tried so hard to give Stephen a happy ending, but I forgot its w black mirror episode.
new subscriber. Thanks for a thorough review of bandersnatch. I just watch it once. i only got 2.5 stars out of 5
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the review!
So addicting. I like it
The ending where Stefan descends into paranoid schizophrenia (entering PAC into the safe) was amazing in the way the conspiracy all made sense and seemed real to him, formed a consistent set of facts that with a little rewriting of his memories turned his dad and doctor into monsters. Also if you chose Netflix, then to jump out the window, and wonder what's happened to his actor.. is that really Stefan or is Bandersnatch just a memetic-hazard in general :D
ANYONE THAT WATCHES THIS MOVIES IS NOW MADDDDDD
main endings/endings that let you go to the credits (spoilers):
1) the fight with the psychologist and his dad dragging him out
2) the fight with the psychologist and stefan finding that he's in a movie/film set
3) PAC ending where stefan finds out (or imagines) that his father was controlling him in an experiment.
4) 5/5 ending where you kill and cut up the dad and stefan gets imprisoned. colin's daughter works on a netflix adaption of it in the future.
5) Toy ending where stefan goes on the train with his mom and dies in the past, causing stefan to die in the future. this is my favorite ending.
the first time i watched it i took the pac ending and the toy ending and neither of them took me to the credits. the fight with his dad and the psychologist ended the episode for me
This movie was fucking awesome! So is your channel homie! Good work
This is my favourite black mirror story so far, I love how even though we get to make choices, the narrative fucks with us and shows us how little control even we have.
I cant find any other endings but great review
Thank you!
Thank you for making this video! It's so hard to tell people that hate this episode because of the choices. But I agree this is briliiant and fhe episode will be so personal.
I'll be back to watch your review I cant get spoiled
I don't blame you! Look forward to hearing what you think!
I hope they use that interactive feature in more episodes and in different netflix shows
i remember seeing a theory that the recurrence of the white bear symbol was supposed to signify that this episode is stefan's torture (like victoria's from the white bear episode), especially since every time he woke up he gasped in that exact way that victoria did. in this theory, then, /we're/ the audience from white bear, and we're taking enjoyment in his torture, since every choice leads to a bad ending for stefan.
That’s a cool theory!
I like that. I definitely didn't connect the gasping even though I was working on tying in the symbol.
I got the one where Stefan *spoilers* opens the safe and finds out his life is controlled and a science experiment
the flashbacks "timetravel" concept made me feel so anxious @.@
One ending that I haven't heard so far, is when the game doesn't get released at all, due to Stephan being arrested. This may be the 5th ending that BrainPilot haven't discovered yet.
I recommend that you choose the window during the Netflix fight, it breaks down everything
Yeah I’ve seen that one since!
This was so amazing. Thanks Black Mirror
This is the future of movies, a new branch of movie-games!
Definitely a turning point in television consumption!
Great review! Like always!
Thank you!
Colin is my favourite character
*spoiler* (just in case anyone hasn’t done multiple endings)
The ending I loved is when goes back in time KNOWING his mum is going to die...and he goes with her, to be with her and not to grow old without her absolutely brought a tear to my eye. I thought it was beautiful. An amazing story and one of the best Black Mirror has to offer (San Junipero is still my favourite)
youtube rewind should have made their video interactive so that it would actually be "what the people want"
As someone who always picks the good guy choices in choose your own adventure type games and stories picking the bad choices like killing your dad was uncomfortable lol I think that’s also an intentional part of the experience too
I hope they will continue shows like this on a limited basis, so the novelty doesn’t were down
Agree with you there! Too much would ruin it!
I seriously couldn't agree more look at my comment above and I was saying this 2! The most interesting part was a dead-end hahaha
I'm gonna go through it again tonight but one thing that stood out to me is
SPOILER WARNING!!!
Even if Stefan finds his bear the mom will miss the scheduled train. So ultimately he blamed himself and his dad over choices that wouldn't have mattered or changed the story either way. Which I think was the point on that ironic black mirror way.
Nope he goes with her and dies
Thank you!
I got the ending where a lady in the future is trying to remaster the game and she also loses her mind.

There is no choice not to fight the therapist. It's whether you kick the dad in the balls or not.
