Is that sponsor basically like carfax also is it usable in US and other countries? Just wondering know you are based in UK but have good mix of people watching from different parts of the world.
I liked this episode because it reminded me of a simple chat between cars guys, which is how we all started. Keep up the good work, Tim. We all approve.
Forgetting the numbers for a second, it's actually a pretty decent all-round car! However as mentioned this one is pretty special, and given its value I think it's worth more keeping it, sentimental and story wise to the channel and you personally.
To be honest, I can't remember the last time seeing you smile as much and have the enthusiasim, excitement and passion you had in this video. It was like you'd just collected it from new all over again.
The Focus is such a fun car. And, while quite rare, a car you can just drive and enjoy more freely than the high end vehicles in the garage. And it’s such a great counterpart to the GT500 and the GT in the Ford wing of the garage.
Keep up the absolute brilliant work. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and wishing you a incredible New Year. Looking forward to 2024. Thank you so much for the brilliant content over 2023
I totally love how you actually drive your cars without worrying about their value, no matter how special a car is, a car is just a car at the end of the day :), Use it and enjoy it :) 🧡
Tim, I’m so glad you’re not selling it. I’m a huge Ford fan, and love your collection. How about adding a brand new mk1, or mk2 Escort. They’re made in Wales by MST. Order what you want, and how you want, and they build it. That way you can go heritage and modern at the same time. But, sadly it wouldn’t have a Ford badge on it. Cheers Tim. Happy New Year to you and Püppi. Wishing you all the best in 2024 🥂🍻
I am glad it is not the 675LT or the GT8 because they were the 2 cars that were on your channel at the time I started following your channel when you still have the 675LT & GT8 with your FF, black GT R & the blue Focus RS.
Whenever you put a selling or changes video up, I always go to the end before I watch to see if it’s my favorite of your collection, which is your DB8. Whew. Ok. Now I will watch the rest. Hello from Texas.
For the GT 500 you could get new wheels that have carbon fiber barrels with a forged center section. You still have the look, but a little bit more robustness. And by chance the wheels get curbed you only have to replace the barrel.
The reason why shmee has such good relation with companies is because he just drives the car irrespective of wether it's a 2 mil zenvo doing 4000 miles or focus doing 10000
An absolute spot on video about the Focus RS, Fun with a capital F. Glad to hear it’s being used, and each to their own…our Red is used as and when I get time (other toys). The RS brand is very underrated by those who don’t know, and credit to Ford when they created this car, the Editions and Heritage - very good marketing - price point, usability and fun.
Another cracking video Tim, also whilst watching I love the fact that when your talking about your cars, you remind us that the number plates also have their own little stories and in my opinion mean as much to you as the cars do themselves.
Like the sheer enjoyment you get from your collection of cars. Keep the Escort Heritage would be nice to collect a few more R/S200 would make a nice track car
From the actual cars as a two car garage I would choose the Aston convertible (cruising with wind in the hair and v8 sound in the ears) and the focus rs for the practical side. One car garage... The 1M (for the sound and the design) with a cycle system to put on it.
Great to see your choice of watch too, i picked mine up in July after ordering in October 2020, well worth the wait, I also put mine on the current moon watch chrome / brushed bracelet, it suits the watch really well 👌add a MK1 Focus RS to the collection, I have one and its a special car built in low numbers, I nearly sold my Mk3 Focus RS in 2020 for a 1M as i could see the future value in them, however I kept the MK3 and it has since had a full underside resto so looks like new again and will hopefully return a decent value when i retire and sell it on
I had orange Mk2 Focus ST for about year and half, it was so fun to drive at twisty country lanes, but in here Finland we have max speed limit 80km/h in those roads so it was sometimes bit lame to drive. Yeah it had it's own little flaws like heat soaking after hard driving, bit klonky in city, thirsty as hell. But the sound of that 5 pot engine, random pops and bang from exhaust, chassis was awesome. Basically only things it needed was bit more power and better exhaust to get that sound out. That orange color tought, it was straight in your face.
Have you considered autobeam LED bulb upgrades for the RS? Made the change on my old RS and it made a massive difference to the brightness and fully reversible
Out of all the expensive supercars you have, it's really nice to save a small, less expensive practical hot hatch with the right amount of power for narrow roads. I'm glad you still have it as sadly, ford won't make another Focus RS.
Shmee, great to see that route you are taking, it is also my favourite local route but in the opposite direction - great roads! Totally agree with what you are saying about the type of car, A45S is the most fun I have had on that road - annihilated it :-)
Oh my god. People driving in between two speed limits is one of my biggest pet peeves. Too slow on normal roads and then too fast in the city.. so frustratingly stupid.
shmee's collection feels personal even as it has grown to Forza proportions. Truly great cars but they all seem to be connected to the collector. Congratulations and looking forward to what 2024 has in store for the channel.
When looking for a hot hatch i first test drove a rs Fantastic hot hatch But i ultimately settled on a golf r, just because of the interior and automatic. Both golf r and focus rs are awesome all round hot hatches.
I love that you drive your cars. All these people who buy and park must not actually love driving. I own a Ferrari and while it is not my daily driver that car is out of the garage 2-3 days a week. Yep the milage is going up but who cares. I love to drive and I will keep driving my cars
This video was one to push me just far enough to get an RS myself just yesterday. Did you ever lower the seats in the Heritage like you did in the Red? It'd be interesting to know as you've had plenty of experience and about the same height as me, or even a bit taller. I've been revisting all your RS videos and this brings back the memories. I've been following your journey since the R8 days, how time flies.
@shmee is the big teaser about the jesko being added to the collection! As you said in the previous jesko drive video! The jesko drive reminds me of when the zenvo came to the shmuseum before you revealed that you have ordered one!
To be completely honest I would love to see you do some small upgrades, things like a new exhaust and blow off valve nothing crazy but something to enhanced experience. You can even do things like a new carbon fiber steering wheel with orange stitching just to make the car feel a bit more new in a sense. But definitely has to stay on the channel and in the collection.
I like this episode. It reminds me a bit of top gear style of just driving and talking through the driving expiriance. I definitely like the car on the channel more than the Huracon for example. It's so approachable and easy going. Just like hey, hop in, lets have a laugh and go fast within the speed limit.
I think the Focus RS should be a keeper. Getting the Ford Garage across the world together. Now a Raptor R or the Mustang GTD in the future would be a nice addition :)
Shmee has dream hypercars but he takes the time to enjoy and cherish a Focus. I highly respect that he drives these cars instead of just using them as a collectors item or display piece. Thats why we love you Shmee
Focus is such a nice design, i had an MK3 but sadly it had the crappy DPS6 transmission so i had to let it go at some point before a very expensive breakdown occurs….
I'm in Florida right now and my friend let me borrow his Mach-E4X GT. The thing is pretty wild. I never owned a car that went faster than 5 seconds 0-60 and it feels like a cheat-code to me. It feels good being able to beat cocky Model 3 owners lol.
Hey Shmee, just an idea but to save space it might look really cool to mount the f1 show car on the wall/ceiling as a nod towards the downforce of it and it may just be an amazing addition to the Shmuseum!!!
Alas! Finally lovely to see you sporting another watch!! Like cars watches are meant to be driven. Please change watches frequently! We’re watching it matters!!!!
a delivery mileage sold at auction for £62,000 in the summer. there is also a delivery mileage for sale for 80K but that's for sale, not sold....like you said, your using it like it was meant to & will still come out with 20-40K profit depending on the market in many years to come
Tim just proves the humble ford focus rs gives the most pleasure to own had one myself awesome now have the new m2 g87 in manual another great follow on keep up the good all round video's of vehicles 😊
Similarly to the focus rs id love to see you buy an older jdm car and do a build on it and I don’t mean like a 800hp Supra or gtr, I mean a car you can actually enjoy on these country roads as you do like a nsx, rx7 or s2000. im sure those are more your style than others that are out there like the 300zx or gto which are my personal favorites but i know im not the only one who would love to see some more project cars like these on the channel and see what you would do with them.
I don’t have this problem, I factory ordered my F56 MINI, one of the first on the U.K. roads and it’s still on the drive. Will be ten years old and although been on great road trips and holidays it’s sitting on 34k miles and still drives like new. Last year it did Glasgow to London with absolute ease and comfort. I just like they way they drive and scared I’d miss the MINI feel. Ironically I had a Polestar electric for a afternoon to myself and enjoyed it, it was fun and ballistic quick and so so easy to drive but still a big Car even when it hide its weight very well. But for me a summers day up the west coast of Scotland in the MINI is just my favourite thing. I’ve never done a European trip so that might be a challenge next like to Monaco take some of the roads I’ve seen on channels.
Which F56 model is it? Got a Cooper myself at the start of this year after not having a car for nearly three years after my previous Fiesta 140 ST-Line was rear ended and written off and the pandemic. The interior and decent exhaust noise sold it for me, even though I swore I was going to get a four cylinder this time rather than another three haha. MK5 Golf GTI was what I was looking at until I realised my budget could be a bit higher
I think the Heritage Focus should stay because since its so rare, the prices could go up and up in the future if its ever considered a 'future classic'.
Is it possible to hang the F1 car from the ceiling👀 Would be epic, but assuming the structures in the shmuseum aren’t up to it / too costly / would get in the way of other memorabilia?
Though not a mustang person I would agree swapping out the wheels there are so many options and materials available for every day use then put carbon on for special occasions. I will say its one thing that I like about your collection even though not something I would choose you drive what you like and it doesn't matter if its expensive or not, where other collectors on anti-social media only show expensive cars. Though I get you love Ford I do think your collection needs a Mopar before they are totally gone and I am not a huge Mopar guy but the supercharger whine does make me giggle and with climate you have could see you with a trackhawk. But honestly anything with a hellcat I think would be neat and i could be wrong but really don't see them over there and could be where you mentioned being bigger car. As for the Escort though not my cup of coffee (currently out of tea as we just celebrated the 250th anniversary of dumping it in the harbor lol) I see keeping special editions. Though I can be wrong which wouldn't be first time but in the US I view them as the cars(I don't want to stereotype cars to people but often there are trends) like parents get their teens or something bought when a person can't afford a Subaru WRX or in area i live in its almost like civic crowds there are some that like the hatchback type & mod them out and most end up sounding like civics in the end ha Lastly I was wondering if its just area's I visited or seen but besides farms I didn't see many pickup trucks in the UK. Do you see them or it mainly cars & suv types. With my personality of being different if I lived in the UK I would have a diesel mall crawler. Keep up the great content you drive & like ehat you do & like i mentioned its one thing I like about your channel like last week video your in a half million dollar suv but not sn suv this week your having as much fun in basically blue collar car
I love the ford focus Rs . I remember when I was younger much younger the hot hatches were pretty big in America . The focus the golf the rabbit the civic and I’m sure a few more but my friends and I loved them but that was late 90’s to early 2000

I would totally make a racing simulator in the F1 car, it would fit perfectly in the game area!
You should mount the Formula 1 car on the wall where the number plates are , that's a parking spot , the main one for that matter that is wasted
Sell, Sell, Sell… Happy Holidays! ⛄️
Is that sponsor basically like carfax also is it usable in US and other countries? Just wondering know you are based in UK but have good mix of people watching from different parts of the world.
You need an MST MK1 or MK2 in the collection! Definitely go and drive one!
I liked this episode because it reminded me of a simple chat between cars guys, which is how we all started. Keep up the good work, Tim. We all approve.
Interesting. You have made contact with every viewer, have you?

I disagree
Its a collector car

He’s had it years
Vive le hot hatch! However much money you have

Love the heritage focus. Couldn't have said it better myself, hence why I've had 2 mk3 RS. They're great cars!

fully support keeping this car, and the GT500 and the GT8 are my favorite cars of the whole collection so happy to see you still enjoy them so much
Move the giant watches and put the F1 car on the wall above the sofas. 👌
The reason why shmee has such good relation with companies is because he just drives the car irrespective of wether it's a 2 mil zenvo doing 4000 miles or focus doing 10000

Beautiful Cars Shmee!! Beautiful Cars! your garage is very cool! I know you are immensely Proud of how its developed.
28:50 Loved this episode ❤. At the end it's all about having fun and experiencing the most out of the cars we love
Glad to hear you are keeping it and yes would be epic to get a mk1 and mk2 Focus RS in your collection. 👍👍👍👍
The 1M and Clio V6 should go before the RS and any other car, even the Vantage should go before the RS, I know the Vantage means a lot though.

A bit of a random question. Have you heard anything about your Morgan Super 3 order?
I wouldn’t be shocked if he has cancelled his order.
Congrats for your new acquisition of the Snoopy Omega! Love this watch!

For all those reasons, we bought a Hyundai i20N for 3 kids on the school run and Sunday morning B road blasts for me.
At last a real watch that aventi was really starting to grate on me
A MK1 and MK2 needs to happen. I upgraded my MK2 ST to an RS and absolutely do not regret it, brilliant car! Loved my old NB MK3 RS as well :)
Phew, you had me really worried then Tim. I thought the RS Heritage Edition was toast. Panic over, what a great video!
The consistency is crazy,wow!
@Shmee150 congratulations on the Snoopy, absolutely gorgeous!!!
I have no doubt that Shmee loves all of his Ferraris. But, I do wonder if he "had" to buy the 296 and the Roma Spider to secure the SF90 XX?
Rocking the Speedmaster Snoopy!!!

Hi Tim. Have you ever thought about adding a Ford Sapphire RS Cosworth, Siera RS Cosworth or Escort Cosworth?
Heritage RS is my favorite car in your garage. Fun hot hatch that I can relate to. The McLarens and Ferraris are awesome but they are unobtainum.
Loved the drivers at 35 in a 50 limit who then speed up in a 30 built up area. Agree, totally.

Best wishes for the coming year and keep up the good work. 👍
I love that you have the GT500 which is just gorgeous and very sick, while having the cool super cars as well
a mini gp3 would be an interesting addition to the collection

Love the heritage edition! Would be awesome to see the mk1 focus RS and also the mk2 focus RS500 along side it!
The Focus Part is awesome, well spoken ❤
the RS is exactly the kind of car we love in New Zealand
You are lucky to have one. Like the Orange color 👌
really enjoyed the drive and chat showing theyre being driven
Tim, do I spot a Speedmaster Silver Snoopy on the wrist? First time seeing it on video!!
First time it has been worn on the channel ;)
@@Shmee150 congratulations, a grail watch for me!

Really enjoyed this video. Totally agree and can totally relate 👍🍊

Though I can be wrong which wouldn't be first time but in the US I view them as the cars(I don't want to stereotype cars to people but often there are trends) like parents get their teens or something bought when a person can't afford a Subaru WRX or in area i live in its almost like civic crowds there are some that like the hatchback type & mod them out and most end up sounding like civics in the end ha
Lastly I was wondering if its just area's I visited or seen but besides farms I didn't see many pickup trucks in the UK.
WELL TIM, I PRAY THAT YOU GET A MUSTANG GTD. AND SAFE TRAVELS WHEN YOU VISIT THE USA FOR SCOTTSDALE BARRET JACKSON.
I love the ford focus Rs . I remember when I was younger much younger the hot hatches were pretty big in America . The focus the golf the rabbit the civic and I’m sure a few more but my friends and I loved them but that was late 90’s to early 2000
