Why am I learning German? I always loved languages. I took 3 years of French and Italian when I was young. I naturally understand/read Portuguese (don't know why). My muttersprache is Spanish. I chose German because it shares origins with the English language. They are both of anglo-saxon origins and since I know English, I figured I would pick it up no problem. Oh boy!! Was I wrong!!!!! I'm pulling my hair out!!!! I'm learning sounds I didn't know existed!! Deutsch ist sehr schwer. The dative and accusative cases! the kein and nicht!...the plurals....I mean...English is a breeze compared to German. I've been at it for 1 year so far. I will not stop. I love learning and I love challenges. Next, I'm learning Mandarin and Latin. I will learn languages until the day I die. Loved your video! Vielen dank! Macht spaB!
Your dedication to learn languages has motivated me to not stop learning German even if i find it hard to learn due to different articles that they change a lot according to the cases dative accusative and genetive. As a bilingual speaker, how long will you spend to learn Deutsch at b2 or b1 level? Danke schön für dein antworten
Hello from a Dane: I'm very impressed due to following reasons: 1) They added English subtitles 2) The woman speaking have ein sear bequem voice and she utters every single word very clear. Thank you.
Wonderful. Please make more lessons like this. This helps me with both my vocabulary and grammar. I am focusing on listening and reading. I'm not trying to read or write - too hard. I love to hear German. It's a beautiful language.
Vielen Dank.Endlich finde ich gute Geschichten ,ich lerne deutsch und brauche so viele praktische und einfache Möglichkeiten,es zu lernen.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😃😃😃😃✋✋✋👏👏👏✋
Great, I wish there were more stories after some months of online learning, I feel concern since I feel I don't understand and it frustrates a learner. After the story I have a feeling of satisfaction I tried without watching the subs and I was a le to understand a lot, not all though, but a lot. I'm happy. Thank you. Please we need more of your great job.
Wir brauchen mehr Videos von euch. Es ist super! Ich habe eure Videos verfolgen und alles wiederholen um meine Aussprache zu beherrschen. Diese Videos von euch sind wirklich hilfreich!
I've been doing "Anja's" German course. Her voice sounds like the blonde girl that did some of the videos for Anja. This will certainly supplement my learning. It's nice to have it slow. thanks

Finally something at my level too! Thank you!! Can't you put the English translation under each sentence? I think it would be better than the youtube subtittles. 😊
Hi Everybody! A recommend an interactive writing task for me and you! :) According to the story, find the factual errors in the sentences and correct them: 1.) Ich ignoriere den Wecker insgesamt sechs Mal. 2.) Um vierzehn Uhr habe ich ein Bewerbungsgespräch. 3.) Heute Morgen brauche ich einen Kapuziner.
Thank you for replying..Ja, es tut mir leid...I thought the time spoken was 'um drei uhr' ,...in which case it would mean 2 o'clock wouldn't it? My understanding is that Germans speak of time as 1hr ahead, unless it's referring to 24hr clock or has 'genau' or 'punkt' in front of the time..a bit confusing for me actually.

I'm a beginner lernen mit videos...so I'll hv a million qns: at 2.28, isn't dreizehn Uhr supposed to be 14:00 not 13:00 ?
Dreizehn = thirteen and vierzehn = fourteen. So, dreizehn Uhr literally translates to "thirteen o'clock", meaning 13:00 or 1pm. Hope this helps!
