  • "Noken Paitim Meri" is a song by George Telek and David Bridie. In this live performance at ABC Radio Australia Studio, the artists likely showcased their collaborative work. The song's title translates to "Don't Beat the Woman" in English. The performance might have involved traditional Papua New Guinean elements blended with contemporary music styles. This collaboration might have aimed to raise awareness about gender-based violence and empower women through music.

Well done GT for the song. It comes out in a form of "Law & Order Awareness". The lyrics are meaningful and I pray that it will help someone out there in PNG to stop from causing violence to women. Support from the Altar-Call Gospel Band of Bougainville. FH

Soulful, the song says it all...pleading to all men to refrain from beating up their womenfolk.

Very soulful. Violence Against Women is getting out of hand. About time, more awareness through music!
