My Autumn tradition; well despite not having that season in Ph, in Baguio City, it has cool climate aaaanddd there are maple trees in Burnham Park! I take photos there and spend some time walking around the park or read a book. Also, I indulge in Chai tea as well. ❤
I loved the autumn vibes in this video, those yellow trees are so gorgeous against the blue sky. I just love that cute orange Bungubox pen too! Autumn traditions here include walking my dog in a park by the Outaouais river (it's too busy in summer, so I wait until a nice day in November), picking a warm afternoon to go kayaking one last time for the year, and I usually roast a pumpkin as well (maple syrup, rosemary, olive oil, a little bit of cayenne and lots of sea salt - I serve it with onions confit). Then comes chopping and stacking firewood and battening down the hatches because winter here is no joke!
Autumn-same, favorite time. I live in the mountains of Western NC/USA which beautifully reflect the seasons. However with the devastation we've had from Hurricane Helene over a month ago, our local, state parks and hiking trails are still closed. And some trees at the higher elevations lost their leaves with the winds. However autumn does persist thank goodness. Fortunately I live on a couple of acres in a sweet small town. I can step out my door and just walk my neighborhood or property to find fall at my doorstep. I love taking pictures, journaling/memory keeping, sitting on my deck and watching the change on a daily basis, hanging Indian corn on my front door, pumpkins on the front porch, gathering colored leaves to bring in, drinking matcha, chai, hot cocoa. Yes to all things squash, yams, sweet potatoes for meals, roasted veggies, cinnamon rolls, beeswax candles, so many more. Enjoyed the collaboration with Sarica. Happy Autumn Abbey!
Thank you so much for sharing all of this-I can just picture your fall setup, it sounds so dreamy! I’m sorry to hear about the hurricane’s impact; it’s amazing how you’re still finding beauty in your own little corner of the world. So happy you enjoyed the collab with Sarica, too-it was such a joy to create together! Here’s to a cozy, beautiful autumn full of all the small moments that make it so special. 🍁
Has always beautiful spreads. Wish we had autumn here where I live, one of my fav and annual activities for the season is baking zucchini & carrot cupcakes with my mom, this has been or 7 year in a row. Greetings! :)
I love your videos… and fall! This video is such a vibe. Made me super excited about cozying up and observing the beautiful changes in color as I journal away. I also love the orange binder where you keep your stickers! Do you mind sharing where you got it?!
