I could watch you quilt and share your thoughts all day long. Thank you so much for the tips on cutting panels I have struggled with squaring them up many times. Your tips make so much sense. I would be lost without my little sticky notes. Looking forward to more on any part of the quilting process.
Loving this longer new format. And yes, yes, please show the free motion quilting, I am eager to improve that skill. You and Katrina are such great teachers. I enjoy both your teaching styles and personalities. My fave was the charcoal background, but both were pretty. Thanks so much to the whole crew for the work you do. I always learn something new and just enjoy listening to your videos. Very relaxing.
i can't imagine a tutorial that could be too long.....i enjoyed the whole of this!!! such beautiful panels, then such beautiful quilts....would like to see the lighter panel quilted!! thank you for sharing with us.
Both panels are gorgeous. I would love to see a free motion quilting demo. I wish you get to 100.000 subscribers soon, you deserve it. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing a wonderful quilt project! I love all your videos and I’ve been sewing 35+ years but I’m new to quilting! I really appreciate videos giving the info to help me on my exciting new journey of learning quilting! 🥳🤩
Love Robin Pickens, she's one of my favorites. The Woodland & Wildflowers panel seems like it would be great for an apron, too. I'm always interested in free motion quilting techniques, too.
What a lovely quilt Jeanette I loved the dark print one but both are lovely Thank ou for sharing with us and so nice to see some of the viewers makes xx
Thank you so much for your excellent panel tutorial. It gives me an idea of how to handle a couple of the panels that I purchased in the past and have not known quite how to handle.😊😊😊
I love the fabrics, I wish I wasn’t here in the states and could get the bundles. Would love to see quilt videos for both panels, the cross-hatch and the free-motion. It would also be wonderful to have a video on the hand stitching embroidery quilting techniques. 😊🧵🪡
Really enjoyed this video. I am a beginner and this helped explain the piano key border. Is it possible to purchase just the pattern from you? I was given scraps of fabric to practice sewing on, therefore at this stage all I need is a good pattern to start. Looking forward to however you would quilt this and hope you'll do a video on it soon.
What a great video! I am a new subscriber and a beginner quilter. I have purchased a couple of panels in the past just because I loved the fabric but have been at a loss as to what to do with them. You’ve inspired me with this wonderful project. Is it possible to purchase the instructions or are they only available with the bundles? I would like to try this with scraps and a panel I already have before purchasing a new bundle, if possible. Please let me know. 🇨🇦🥰
Hi Jeanette 🎉 … what a wonderful quilt! I can‘t not decide what motive should I choose? You explain the directions very well. I love your videos. Thank you 🤩. A free-motion Video would be helpful. A question: which batting do you take for the quilt: cotton?/cotton - Poly mixture or only Poly? Best regards, Astrid 🙋🏻 from 🇦🇹
Hi Astrid, Jeanette said: Thank you Astrid. To be honest my choice of batting often depends on what I have at hand. It may be 100% cotton or a cotton/poly 80/20 blend. The batting I used for the Woodland Panel quilt is a Supersoft Ecoblend of 70% recycled cotton and 30% recycled polyester. I had not used it before but I liked the idea that it is good for the environment, so thought I would try it.
@@SewingStudioThank you Jeanette for your detailed answer. One more question: how do you solve the suspension problem? Maybe you can show that briefly in the next video? Best greetings from Astrid 🙋🏻
Hi Jeanette 😊. You gave me the answer in your last video „A useful technique“ - Adding a hanging sleeve to your quilt. There you showed, what I wanted to know. Sorry, dear Jeanette, my English isn‘t so good …(🙈). ‚Dr. Google‘ gave me the translation of the the German word „Aufhängung“ the word ‚suspension‘. Best regards, Astrid 🙋🏻🇦🇹@@SewingStudio

Either I missed it or you didn't say how you figured how big to make each of the pieces for the border to make them fit.

Love this video. Can we get this fabric in USA?
Hi Brenda, I believe most of this fabric has been released in the USA already. We do also sell to the USA in case you wanted to buy from us!
What is a long quarter?
I believe it is a quarter yard by the width of fabric.
I don’t think that you play piano! Lol :) beautiful quilt , thank you!
