I’d get away from an alloytec v6 with muffler deletes coming down the highway aswell, they’ve got to be the worst sounding engine in all of Australia. And to think the owners could have had one of the best sounding engines in Aus if they’d just spent a little bit more money on the v8.
Hi. Probably a stupid question, would this sound with no drone be the same in a stock 2016 VF V6 Calais? Or was there more done to this car to sound like this? My car is too quiet, but I don’t want drone.
Judging by just the video, Imo they're not loud enough for the cops to pull you up for it even if you're giving it some, I have a custom exhaust on my sv6 that is rated at 134db peak and the cops haven't defected the car in 2 years of daily driving it. Most cops let you go just don't be an asshole when they pull you up.
@@kuluinmufflers4100 did you change the cats to high flow and what size were they? And also the manifolds? These exhaust sound great and want them for my sv6.
@@brownie2917 still, the stock exhaust is extremely restrictive and cams do their best work high in the rpm range where you have to get more air out. Putting cams in on a stock exhaust would probably hurt power

I replaced the mufflers with hotdogs and i recon it sounds better than that its good on the free way people get out of your way pretty quick

The Xforce system is a direct bolt on. The cat mod is custom but still works with the stock system.
Also looked at the xforce range and this one looks like the 2.25” catback exhaust not the 2.5”

Yes, it can be done to anything with a cat back

It's the 2.5 inch x force cat back. It has a mid resonator and rear mufflers

Yes, it lists it for the V8 but sounds great on the V6. It's is running the stock manifolds with 100cell 2.5 inch high flow cats

Evrything is an improvement on the Cruze, they respond well to upgrades. A full 3 inch system is the way to go

How does the 2.5 fit into the stock 2.25 after the cat?
They both bolt up to the same flange pattern. Any cat back system will fit. The 2 1/4 inch system is the same flange as the 2 1/2 and 3 inch

Just don't get a vf ss redline exhaust learned the hard way has no spot for the o2 sensors and the ve ss mufflers don't bolt up
