I remember going to see Oliver Lake at a small club in Cambridge, MA, in the 80s and Geri was in the band. I had never heard of her and was so blown away. It was a pinnacle musical experience. A true musical giant.
I remember playing with Kenny during his Chicago days. Awesome bassist!
