Why are you all comparing 2PM and SHINee? They're two completely different groups. Each group has its own unique qualities that we all love. Let's just watch this and enjoy 2PM.
for me 2pm didnt become more scripted they just became more mature, and more cautious of wat they do, cos they learn their lesson that everybody judges the way they do things, they only become more crazy in front of just fans and when they are back stage, in shows, yea, they are more matured so ppl would take them srsly
one main reason why 2pm cannot be so high on shows is cos they do not have the 'idol'image to be aware of. as in,the public long regarded them as beasts thus they can be as high as they want. However, for other grps that is taken out for comparison, those grps unfortunately still have to be aware of their image. Can u imagine all of them being like beasts? So, go around saying why "blah blah' grp so reserved..

Well, 2PM really have grown. They are more serious in shows lately. I noticed it after watching Hello Councilor. hmmm.. there's nothing negative about them being serious or acting like an idol group. Change is good. It means they've taken all the problems they faced seriously and they've learned. What matters most is that they stayed humble like before. :)
I am a shinee fan too.....but 2pm just has the x factor in variety shows that just steal you away from other groups so i've always loved 2pm more than shinee...but still love both groups:)

Shinee is cool too, they got their own charms, but 2PM seems to be more real, less scripted, they remind me of my high school friends doing everything that comes to their minds, while Shinee looks more like an idol group, with good manners and closest to perfection! i think the word you looking for is "mature". instead of they being calmer, they become more mature. they didnot act like the way they used to before. and i miss that. but when i see 2pm show, i think they still having fun but not crazily insane like bfore. still, everything that happened with 2pm when jay's controversies happened is the hardest time for them. :)

But I don't think they're completely different, they are more careful when saying things, because at that time they were boys, now they're men, I think they act their ages (;

I know it's an old comment, but I thought I should recommend some shows with SUJU anyway. Explorers of the human body is hilarious(i especially loved the ep with TVXQ), they were on Shinhwa Broadcast too. Their Intimate note episode was really funny. I also watched them in China(Happy Camp was the funniest, they were guests as SJ-M a few times, with and without Hangeng)... argh...i hope I was at least a bit helpful ..

i think 2Pm just need capability to talk much in variety show. So they not only to be guest but also great MC. I want they learn from Super Junior so they can make every show to be more entertaining...........
