Thank you for continuing to explore Jaejoong's discography. As a long-time fan of his, I appreciate and enjoy hearing your insight on his music. My personal theory on why Life Support sounds so wordy is because the demo version was recorded in English, and when the lyrics were converted to Korean perhaps the sound of certain syllables became stronger which gave that effect. Similar to you, I'm a big fan of the song and his vocal and emotional delivery though. Kanade is a popular song originally released in 2004 by the Japanese rock/jazz fusion duo, Sukima Switch, which Jaejoong included in his first Japanese cover album, aptly titled Love Covers, in 2019. I think their version is worth checking out as well. 🙂 As for Run Away - wow, you got it in one. Adele's producer had a hand in creating the song, unfortunately I don't recall his name but I believed he also worked on Hello, hence the very distinct sound. If you listen to the original English lyrics, you can immediately tell that Jaejoong went to great lengths to get the Korean lyrics to match the sound of the original English - some parts sound nearly identical. Funnily enough, this song is one of my favourites. To each their own I suppose 😄 Just Another Girl is indeed a banger and another one of my favourites. The way I personally read the lyrics is from someone who's pretending to detach himself, saying she's "just another girl" when in fact he's deeply hurt by her betrayal and struggling to move on from her. As an aside, the music video also has some of my favourite visuals he's ever served. Looking forward to seeing Pt. 2 of the marathon whenever it's ready 😊

It could sounds strange to western ear, but Jaejoong's voice catch you and bring you within the melody and you're enchanted. Hope you'll try other songs in his Love Covers 1,2,3 albums.😊😊😊 This performance of Just another girl is probably from 2013, the peak of Jae's rock desease 😊 WWW album is very solid one. I don't see any comments explaining, so let me take a stab at it. Its been a while, so I might not have all the right info. This Life Support performance was for a fan meeting later on in Japan after he was released from military. This was sort of an interlude while he changed his outfit or something. In the hologram concert, he had a hologram of himself performing on the piano as shown in cuts and bits in this performance. I've never seen any dvd of the hologram concert, only fancams 😢. I wish I could watch it.
Maybe what inspired him to make Just Another Girl was bcs he got cheated twice? And he knows from Entertainment News 😅 During that time after his lawsuit against SM (prev agency) he got blacklist by entire Korean & JPN ent, got betrayed by his closest friend, poured dirty water but can't even defend himself bcs of the blacklist, and on top of that being cheated by his gf, all that thing makes him more emotional i think. That's why his song have dark/gloomy vibe 😅 Yeah he won the lawsuit but the outcome as if the entire world turn his back to him, that's make him have low self-esteem i guess, he got depressed until he lost his voice sometimes long ago & got bald as big as soju glass(?) if i remember correctly. His entire life really like a rollercoaster and got that ML vibe from drama/novel but the real one. I really am feeling like that cause after all of that happened to him, he overcome that hardship and bcm successful now. He even have company and girl group he produce himself and going to debut this 16 October. Maybe you can check it out after the girl group debut and give reaction for their music 🙂
You should check on dreamcatcher! Their voice are incredible. They also sing various genre. EDM, Jazz etc. But their main genre is rock, you should check them out, for reeeaaallll.
