Try the Joker Nessmuk. Handle is much larger. Christ has been born. Glorify him.

I like your review & vibes. Nordico might have the handle closer to your Genesis than ember. Thanks man !

If you're not too happy with the handle or blade, check the other fixed knives from Joker. They offer quite a number of models in a scandi grind version too. That gives you a wide variety of handle and blade shapes including a Nessmuk and Kephard style blade up to a traditional Puukko. So plenty of choice for scandi fans and there's often an additional variant with full flat, saber or even convex grind with the same handle available. On top of that, they offer many knives in a stainless and carbon steel variant and with or without a fire steel loop. Not to mention multiple wood types and micarta for the handles. The only thing I'm really missing is left handed sheaths and maybe G10 scales. But having that amount of variants, partially hand made in Europe at that price range is incredible. Other companies only produce few models in just one or two variants with almost zero manual labor to keep the costs down.

Great video! I have the BHK Woodsman Pro and the Enzo Trapper. As much as i like both knives, i have a problem with the handle being small. I was looking at a woodlore-style knife, but i settled for a Joker Montanero(french trade style). This is my first Joker and i love it! I really enjoy watching your vids. God bless brother!

I just ordered an Ember in micarta (cause I have a few birch knives already) and I own an LT Wright Genesis so it will be fun to compare them.

I’m getting the Trampero with Olive wood scales. It’s a flat grind Kephart style knife in 14c28n. (Cudeman is a better known Spanish brand here in Oz. A fair bit more expensive for similar materials and quality). Thanks for the review.

I recommend the Nessmuk S from Joker. It fulfills exactly the points that you disliked with the ember and it is in the same price range and has a special design, which in my opinion is better suited for certain aspects, but also a bit more top-heavy, you can almost us it, as a small ax and knife mix in some cases, wich is pretty nice about it.

  • @CaptCanuck4444

A little bit overaized finger guard. Their Trampero model also looks nice with less of a finger guard.

    I just purchased a Cudeman Sanabria 2 Mini .
I also plan to get a Joker, possibly their Campero or maybe the Nomad with convex.
The Campero comes in a carbon steel , I always prefer carbon but it isn't always necessary.
For the money these knives just make sense. $100-$200 price difference is a HUGE chunk of change.

I just bought the bohler n695 bushcrafter by joker. I'm also interested in seeing its performance as I like to use my own knives compared to a restaurant when it comes to cutting my steak. Also the backyard use of starting fires and small recreational activities etc. I look forward to seeing the video as I'm searching for it so I can watch its performance on your channel
I got my bushcrafter in this sunda afternoon of 4-11- 21 and cut a prime rib with it. Beautiful sharp blade and I'm now staining the olive wood handle with a deep rich dark oak and red mahogany. Then I'll flame treat it and follow that with a nice wax to seal and preserve it to prevent it from being brittle. I was considered a dark black coffee staining but wanted more of a black cherry tone.

Jesus is and should always be no1 for all people. I've been through real hell (things that I've been wisely adviced, to never share with others) and it's Jesus who saved me! I always afraid, that my pants belt loop's stitching, will fail and I'll lose my knife while hiking etc. Does anybody have a solution for that? What a great video you made here! I wish I had a friend like you.

    • @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan

I gave it a like because you're giving your honest opinion but sure could have done without that god talk. I don't care if you believe in god, wear diapers or both. We are talking knives here.
The Ember comes in a flat grind also and with micarta handle scales with or without a matching fire steel and still below 100 USD. I do like LT Wright knives also but bang for your buck it's Joker. At least for me as professional bushcraft, outdoor & survival instructor.

Good video mate, "except for the end." It is your prerogative to do whatever you want with your videos, but that religious rant had no place on a knife video. It was overwhelming. If you want to preach you should make a channel specifically geared towards such. You slipped it in and it became invasive. It doesn't belong in a review about a knife.
