When Arshad Warsi’s character was playing blind dadi that (both the dialogue and background score) was reference to movie BLACK. I would suggest you guys to watch it since it’s a classic and both Amitabh Bachan and Rani Mujherjee had outstanding performance.
If you see too many car stunts in a movie the director is definitely Rohit Shetty.

This was a good one. Golmaal was one of the classic comedie movies. Rohit Shetty use to be fun back then. Will be waiting for "Dhol" and "chup chup ke", any movie directed by "Priyadarshan" would be nice. Thank you

Most of these movies are remakes of Malayalam movies (including Hera Pheri). They should the original Malayalam versions instead. They're much better anyway

For comedies I really love Dewane Hue Pagal and Awara Pagal Dewana . Akshay specifically in the latter is such a hoot.

Arshad's dialogue that 'I think there's going to be snowfall' is a callback to another amazing film named 'Black'.. It had Amitabh and Rani Mukherjee..
While I love the Golmaal franchise, I understand this style of comedy can be difficult to understand for Miguel. Here are some comedies/rom-coms that are also strong social commentaries that I think both of you will enjoy with or without context.
1) Rocky aur Rani ki prem kahani (liberal and conservative extremism, cancel culture, gender roles, fat-shaming)
2) Mimi (motherhood but with a twist)
3) Badhaai Do (I've already recommended this one but this one also addresses gender roles along with sexuality, homophobia, adoption, etc.)
4) Vicky Donor (This has Ayushmann Khurrana in it and touches on sex education and sex positivity similar to Badhaai Ho)
5) Queen (feminism, female independence, gender stereotypes, etc.)
And lastly, this one's not a comedy, and might not get you a whole lot of views, but it's very well made and it'd be interesting to see your reaction nonetheless:
6) Thappad (marital abuse, divorce)
We are giving Miguel a break from comedies so while Dadu is here we I watched a few just the two of us: De Dana Dan, Chup Chup ke, Welcome, Bhagam Bhag, Dhol, and I think if I can get time away from work today we can film Housefull. (Mixed in there somewhere will be Maidaan with all 3 of us and Uri with all 3 of us too)

If you are a fan of paresh rawal then you must watch Andaz APNA APNA he does a double role in that movie and one of his most iconic role is from that movie named Bajaj, the leading actors are Amir Khan and Salman Khan. In my opinion it's one of the best Bollywood comedy movies considering that it was made in the 1990s and still holds up it's comedic genius after so many years you absolutely have to watch it. Love your videos ♥️

One of the references you missed was the movie "Black" maybe cause you haven't seen it, when Ajay and Arshad warsi dressed up as the blind old couple, Arshad (circuit) said "it's about to snow" and also the background music is a reference to black, you should watch that film.

Golmaal is the only frenchise of Indian who is having 4 sequels so you can imagine how much it is popular in India. The reason why it is so successful because they didn't created purposeful comedy it comes natural for all of them including crew members because for them it was a fun and not a work, they were doing there own funny things and nobody restricted them even if you observe some of the shots like luck was saying something which they beeped down was not required in movie but it looks funny that why they included it that's the specialty of Golmaal series that no body is acting here they are actually having fun and because of that it reflects on camera as well so please watch other parts also and even you can watch other movies of the director Rohit Shetty.
