This is the best cover version. Sometimes it doesn't need to sing too technically to make a song perfect. Yu Gengyin's voice is a well balance of technique and emotion. I've become his fan after this performance. Plus really impressed by his kind-hearted personality. Love Xiao Yu and support him so that he can achieve his dream!

While Xingte has a gifted soothing voice and good at vocal technique, Gengyin's voice, vocal technique and his gaze are full of feeling. The lyric becomes his words to the listeners. He looked so handsome while singing. It's a wholesome performance. I have been voting for him and will not stop voting til the end.
Xingte's voice is too innocent and happy, even when he sings songs like this. and he sounds way too young, which further limits the type of song that suits his voice. I think Gengyin and Boyan has more mature voice that suits many types of songs.
This rendition is so so so underrated, his cover is the closest to my favorite which was by Shan Yi Chun, they conveyed the emotions perfectly, silently heartbreaking and pitiful 😭

Yu Gengyin and Bo Yuan are two my favorite person on "Chuang 2021". And if both of them couldn't get into the group- I'd probably couldn't stand it... My heart wouldn't accept it... And It still hurts for Yu Gengyin...💔
