I feel so amused by this because I literally had the opposite experience. Yesterday I heard the seashell part of this on twitter and looked up the original, loved it, then the next video I happened to click was Hi Ren which just blew me away even more and I laughed out loud at the seashell part. And now I've spent the last 24 hours diving into Ren and watching reaction videos and watching people not understand that line.

Ren a Pure Genius on many levels it's mind blowing. He's the music of y/day today & this very moment Now ! So special,so many concepts,so many talents,so inspiring & transparent ,yet look where this young cub is currently... It's REAL & HONEST
The media are going to come for him because his message hits home, most people saying this are ignored as protest singers and a niche thing that's no threat. Ren is impressing all ages and all fandoms regardless of genre and his delivery sticks deep in your head. The establishment won't like it.

To see Ren in his most natural state I can't stress how incredible an experience it is checking out his videos busking with Sam or with his band The Big Push!!! I have no words sufficient enough... you'll have to see for yourself!!!
In these crisis-ridden times, we desperately need unification. Pigeonholing of any kind always leads to divisions. It doesn't matter to me what color your skin is, what you believe in, what music or art you like, or who you love. We all have to learn that everyone is different and we have to learn to respect that. I feel like the “hit em like Bronson” line is so underrated and under noticed? That dude was a monster who would put hits out on people, even while he was in prison. So you couldn’t get away from him. No matter where you were or where he was, he could get to you. Same with the marketing strategy Ren employed. Part of making people think they want something has to do with status. So you show that product 24/7, get it into the hands of the right people, and make sure that it’s advertised EVERYWHERE (as he goes on to say). I think that’s the real beauty of his “hit em like Bronson” line. The best products (mostly) are the ones that everyone else just has. Are iPhones inherently better than androids? (For example. Don’t start a war in the comments) That’s for the users to determine. But I know tons of people who were only getting iPhones cuz *shrug* “all my friends have them”
