I did this with my furby connect but I keep everything out/ wires, electrical parts/ and turned it tino a plushy Also original size ty beanie boos eyes will perfectly fit into the eye part
Honestly this helped me a lot I’m not familiar with Furby Connect And I never realized how different they are from a 2012 or 2013 , they’re so different inside it’s really interesting honestly, their motor and everything is pretty similar but their face is so different I’m like 2012 where they have one screen LED Furby connect has two which I actually didn’t know.
Thank you so much! I needed this for my second hand *supposedly working* furby, which i planned to deep clean by removig the fur and gettih to the shell stage. However i had no clue how to start. Im unsure if i want to customize it, but we will see when we find out if it works! Ill update you folks on how my deep clean goes!
In the case of a dead Furby, you should recycle them! That can be traditional recycling of course, but I really like using old parts for new things. It would be easy to reuse the motor gears and and computer board parts to accessorize a steampunk or cyberpunk Furby!
I want to do this with my connect furbies. Tho I’m curious as to how you put it all back together and keep it in place without the internal parts. Do you glue it or secure it in another way?
Heya! so I messed up. I got my furby from the thrift market on 27th april! He's a 2012 orangutan Furby He had white sticky goo in his fur- so I had to wash his fur. I took it off but i yanked the clips (faceplate/ring) that you need to attach to the Furby. 2 got stuck there but my dad definitly can help get them out in a few years Do you know anyone on the internet that sells replacements for them?? since this is my only furby currently I cannot replace the ring I knew my 14 year old self would ruin something but it doesn't seem complicated at all just need some tiny screwdivers! if you know anyone that sells it could you please respond?
Just don’t take the screens off! In fact, if you intend to change the eyes, there’s no need to remove the beak/eye piece at all! Although if you need to take them off, the connectors just slide back in, you can use tweezers or something to put them back.
@@PurpleLightning147 I just wanted the eye part for another project, because my whole furby just stopped working one day and I didn't know why, so I thought about using parts for new things
Wow. These furbys are built to be so cute that you will forget that it’s a sophisticated piece of technology

For these ribbon cables one usually uses antistatic tweezers to put them under the connector rather than do it by Hand.
Dis furby connect is working?
very helpful thank you :)
Why Furby connect RIP 😭😭😭
What do you do with the remaining electronics?

Just screw it all back together and sew up the fur without any of the guys essentially!

I don’t unfortunately! I don’t really work with that model so I’m not sure how to advise you. You could check on Etsy maybe? Good luck!
Oh wow, so the entire pcb assembly is just this one corner?

May I ask something?
How could I use the screens/eye part/ for new eyes?
Like make them still functional

you look like sssniperwolf
She does
God that screwdriver gives me anxiety. That's the kind you use on furniture, not delicate electronics and plastic pieces
