A second chance romantic suspense novel with a single dad in Cowboy Crossing? Yes, please! Great characters and very thorough and inventive storyline. Loss and alcoholism are themes in this book. A wonderful addition to the CC collection. I cannot wait for the next book!

I love the horse picture on the video and the story is good. The narrator needs to make the individual characters come alive by using different voices especially the little girl. I don't like to be critical but hope it is constructive to help your site grow. I guess the way Jay reads Jessie's books spoiled me. God bless you as you continue to grow in this endeavor. I really wanted to like this and I’m sure it’s a great story, but I just couldn’t get past the unemotional delivery of the reader. I struggled to figure out who was talking, who’s thoughts I was hearing, etc. Guess I’ve been spoiled by Jay Dyess.
Sorry Alexa, the first book in the series was great, and I’m sure the rest are too.
