Carmen dell'Orefice gives so much character to the last ensemble. Considering she is 83, that's really amazing. She never tries to be younger or sexier or unnecessarily coquette, even in her younger years (read WWII…..). She just projects so much inner strength and energy, especially in the last 15 years or so. But the fact that Stephane dressed her in something that was dramatic yet so appropriate for an 80+ lady was also very, very commendable. Not all 80+ woman can look as good as Carmen, obviously, but many can follow this style. Simple tux, impeccable cut, and sensible heels, topped off with a dramatic cape.
