If you save and exit after entering the "square peg in a round hole" segment and load later, the round thing that activates the valves is gone, the door back is closed and you basically need to restart the whole level. That's pretty frustrating, never hed to restart a level before and I've beaten all of them.
You can make the round thing if you put the copper blocks in between the two electrical outlets (its in the back of that section where the copperblocks fall). You can then charge the round thing, where the guy in the video put the copperblock to make that square thingy.

Wow. They really put a lot of thought into that classic 'align the beam' puzzle.
I was so confused by the square battery when I first created it. I was sure it was integral to the level, but its just a red herring.
