Thanks Aidan! A little tip: The arrangement is a lot easier if you don't play the chord fillers (where there's no melody)! It's only not super hard to play, just the harmonic concepts are advanced, not the playing so much 😊

Hi Clarence, I didn't study composition at the university. My majors were jazz guitar performance and jazz guitar instruction. But the performance major had arrangement and composition included. I'm currently working on a Chord Melody course (How To), so stay tuned.

Hey sandra im just curious as to why you put an eflat nine because im reading the lead sheet and it calls for an Am7b5. Is it because the e flat is a tritone away from A? just curious and hope for a response!
Oof, I don't know the song by heart any more 😊. It's probably a trotone substitute. Maybe the f is in the melody? Then Am7b5 wouldn't be a good choice, bc f would be the b6. But I'd have to look at it again.
Without having checked your tine stamp (in replying from an app where I can't see the video), we can have low than just one key. There is a main key (F major), that the song is in (it usually ends in this key), but jazz songs modulate to other key centers several times during a jazz tune. So it's a 251 in another key, but it's still a251.
