I have an 02 and a 20, and both are great pens. F-C is a more conservative company that doesn't use a bunch of gaudy, cartoonish looking materials. They do really focus on their nibs, which is what it's all about.
VERY cool pen. Maybe I should say cold pen because of that frosted, icy quality it has. Seeing that nib rising out from the rim made me think of the torch held by the Statue of Liberty in New York here in the U.S.! Michael, I don't know if you were aware of it but when you said the pen ".writes first time every time" you used the exact words of the advertising used long ago for Bic Cristal pens. Back then the word "Cristal" wasn't used, they were simply Bic ball-point pens. ---I see what you mean about the rim being a problem for keeping the pen clean and how the pen is too long if posted. Still i agree: an excellent pen overall.
As the nib units are screwed in and out, it's not terribly difficult to clean the underside of the hooded nib. I have several nibs for my 31 Omnis. For me, it is the most comfortable pen I own with its long grip section.

I have a Model 65 with in the antique glass and SIG nib and it’s a dream to use !

Oh I know!!! The Monteverde Noir set would be one of my favourite ink collections. I am a big fan of darker muted colours.
Also, I should use that bottle of Rose Noir that I have had for 2 years...

Added a couple of O rings and a small bottle of Silicone grease so you could use it as an eyedropper out of the box. Buyers are paying enough.
