My two favorite ladies! I am already envisioning your life in Florida alongside Mellissa and Bare rocking Facebook Marketplace! I love the thrift store in the house. Several years back there was an antique store in a three story house; I dreamed about buying it, living upstairs, and putting an antique store on the first level and in the basement.

I bought a painting at a garage sale while traveling, found a box in a random alley it fit in perfectly. Allowed two pieces of baggage. Arrived at airport, explained situation to individual at ticket counter; she started laughing and slapped a tag on it and said "all taken care of, no extra charge!" Arrived in perfect condition.
I couldn't love this more!! My two favorites ❤ Glad you are all safe.

Glad you are having fun together. The 1980's - bad decade - big hair, big shoulder pads, pink & black & green interiors! Oh no.....lol I was happy to see that decade come to an end. Love love your "snarky bunny" - everyone needs one I say.
Oh, but these days are so sloppy! In the eighties we dressed! Now it's leggings, sweatshirts, ripped jeans, and no one wears heels, which dresses up the most ripped and torn jeans!😂 These days it's about comfort. That's OK, but I recall having lots of joy styling my outfits each day. Especially the evening or party clothes. Since I was born with thick, curly hair, it was easy to style, and didn't hurt that I was in the business. I recall many women had different types of bobs. It was really the teens who had big frizzy hair. Anything was better than the early 2000s with the super straight,flat hair, and that Caeser cut on men😅 Whatever era we are in, the past always seems crazy!.. with the exception of the 40s and 50s... but in the 70s we didn't much care for those decades either... wonder what's next?😮 I'm too obviously old to follow trends anymore. The classics for us old folks, but no shampoo sets!❤❤❤
@@vlrissolo I absolutely hated the styles, and had a professional job at the time, so had to dress up for work in all those horrible styles. lol Big hair, curled for those big waves, lots of make up, hideous colour combinations. Millions spent on pantihose. lol Lousy music, Conservative Governments all over the world. What a relief when the 80's went away. One big highlight was the birth of my daughter. Now that was fun.

Corning Museum of Glass in Corning NY has a great glass blowing expose. And the most beautiful glass. Even better than anything I saw in Murano, Italy. Definitely worth the trip.
It’s such a great place to explore and learn about the history of glass. Wellsboro is a lovely place to stay too!

Just so you know, “Keramik” is German for “ceramic” .. it’s not a brand or pottery company but some potteries , such as “Bay Keramik,” have it in their names. If and when that occurs, you might want to look up "The Womens' Exchange" in Sarasota. If you've not ever been there, it's a resale shop you don’t want to miss!
I'm writng this in advance of Milton's landfall on Wednesday night, 10/09/24, so I am hoping and praying that downtown Sarasota can make it through with a minimum of damage. Downtown is surrounded by Sarasota Bay with lots and lots of water -- and the potential for inundation by seawater incursion and flash flooding is very high.

:) Jim Thorpe was where my husband proposed to me...right in front of the big chunk of coal! I said yes and he picked me up and swung me around, while the folks around us, clapped and hooted. Such a happy memory. We love Jim Thorpe, and our daughter lives there too.

And a word of caution: that lovely-looking Spanish moss hanging from the limbs is nothing you want to mess with!
It's full of "red bugs"/chiggers, and they will make you hate your life if they get on YOU!

The pink shade is the top of a fairy light but those two pieces don’t go together, however they could be made by the same mfg.
The two pink pieces did not come together. The pink shade is either Tiara or Home interior. It has a base that it sits on that held a small candle. I had the lamp back in the 80’. 90’s

The fairy light top does NOT go with the pink vase. The bottom of the fairy light will be fit inside the top and rest on the three little feet sticking out.
