I love the pose, the head sculpts are fine, love the colors and fully agree the cape is for sure the strongest part of the statue, I dont think I like how long it is though. More like a Spawn cape than a Bats cape to me, excellent video as always!
I got this one and since I really love Kelley Jones designs, I really like this statue. And I love the color scheme, 80s blue/gray Batman is my Batman. I think you have valid arguments, but I still like it better than any other Sideshow Batman so far.
I guess I like this one a bit more than you did. I do think the gargoyle could use more detail and to me, I feel the all white eyes make Batman look like a zombie. I’d prefer more detail in those to show personality. Very cool pose, I love the cape and the size of the head seems fine with me. I’m more a fan of the lower ears too. I love seeing these statue reviews. 👍🏻
Gratz on the new statue man. I personally own the earlier Arkham gravestones PF in the blue and love it. I wasn't a fan of either black or blue when I saw photos but having it on hand I really like it.
That’s a cool idea of trying to make this one look like Wrath. Hopefully it can be done. And dude I’m really liking those CGC frames on the wall. Looks great. And I had that New 52 Bats by P1 and SS but I sold it 3 months ago. I typically stick with 1/4 scale but I can’t pass up on that 1/3 Detective 1000 statue that P1 is coming out with. I’m also debating getting the new WW Rebirth from P1 as well, it looks fantastic and I’m hoping they come out with another Superman 1/3 scale so I can make a trinity display
What you have to understand about the cape is it's a QC nightmare if it was shorter....if it were shorter guaranteed it would have a 15% breakage issue...the issues with a lot of statues today are 3d modeled and then 3d printed so smoothe is the way it comes..they didn't have an experienced sculptor go over it to give the texture you can appreciate on the 1/4 scale statues...to me the Bowen statue in almost this same pose is better

I think it's great! It's an odd statue with a good amount of flaws and yet somehow I like it infinitely better than that last sideshow Batman PF

I like it more than I let on - some scores were low but I do think it's solid. Things being out of scale FREAKS me out though - I hate that
