Mike, Old Man Things, made a few of his own hand painted cobs. He did an excellent job. That bit of a walk looked very nice. We’ve got trails in the mountains behind me here but you need to keep an eye out for rattlesnakes. The coyotes usually stay away, at least during the day.
You’re right my dear friend Mike😊👍👍…nature is beautiful…but…also merciless some times…we got wolves and bears in Switzerland…they were set out by the “greeny” politicians in the 1990s…and…now….we have problems of course 😞 The farmers warned those stupid politicians back then…now its a huge problem after attacks on sheep, goats, chickens, cats&dogs and children too. If you give an inch…nature will kill you quick…especially in the mountains…one has to respect the power of nature indeed 😉
It’s a very beautiful country you have there, Lester. I live in NW Pennsylvania, and we certainly have the seasons and the trees, but not the mountains! I’ll be camping in a cabin with two of my old friends this weekend, something we do each year at this time. It’s a beautiful time of year, and should be perfect weather for hiking in the woods!

Hi Lester Loved the autumn leaf cob pipe ( was it an apple diplomat? ) and the nice walk along a trout stream. I enjoy fishing and have lures to catch trout. Do you fish? If not, you have a great opportunity, living a close to a stream, to try a new hobby, FISHING. I just had minor surgery, recovering, your nature walk helped. I was thinking of catching a trout for dinner while doing Smokeless Pipe Breathing. I used my unpainted Mark Twain cob with an orange amber forever stem. Getting ready to expand my cob collection. Loved the autumn leaf cob pipe ( was it an apple diplomat? ) and the nice walk along a trout stream. I enjoy fishing and have lures to catch trout. Do you fish? If not, you have a great opportunity, living a close to a stream, to try a new hobby, FISHING.
I just had minor surgery, recovering, your nature walk helped. I was thinking of catching a trout for dinner while doing Smokeless Pipe Breathing. I used my unpainted Mark Twain cob with an orange amber forever stem. Getting ready to expand my cob collection. Love my cobs.
