5 Star Review coming here!! I had an old projector screen that I haven't been able to roll up for about 7 years now. I was about to finally replace it until I saw your tutorial. OMG, thank God I did! Now I am not mechanically inclined at all, but I did follow your video to a tee and got my projector screen to roll up just like when I first bought it. And it only took me less than 15 minutes to do.... all by myself! I feel so dumb for waiting this long, but thank you sooooo much for your tutorial.
excellent vídeo Charles! Thank you very much! It got me out of a jam. Tip: Since I didn't have the thin needle nose pairs appliers and the vice grips, I used the side cap itself to roll and hold at the same time.
God bless you for your video. I used the principles in it to fix a large front of house screen in our church. Similar to Henry P. below, I was also able to use the end handle itself to tighten the spring. Many thanks.
Outstanding thanks it works! But you can do it just by unscrewing the end and tightening it without removing the cap but so it can rotate as well. If you do this with it standing vertical and between your knees its easy.
Thanks so much! I got it fixed, but now I am still wondering, did I break it? Or was it broken when it arrived? What is that little key for? Am I supposed to put that in the hole before I use it? SO many questions, and the idiots sent zero instructions.
Do not remove end cap. Loosen all screws at the slotted end, leave end cap on, but with all the screws off , you can just turn whole end cap. No need for vise grips or needle nose pliers.
i know im randomly asking but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Terry Waylon Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I used to repair rollup only a screwdriver. Winded end cap without removing it. It is much easier ;-) Я для ремонта роллапа использовал только отвёртку. Наматывал торцевой крышкой не снимая ее. Это намного проще ;-)
This video really got me out of a jam today. Thank you so much! You’re still helping people out in 2022.
You just saved me $200 and removed my need for blood pressure medicine with your calm demeanor. Thank you!
Why you would decide to make a video about this, I don't know. But I'm sure glad you did. Super helpful. Thanks!

U da man!
Fine sir so thanks
thank you
Thank you sir 🥳🥳🥳🥳
What needs repairing on mine is that the actual spring has lost its tension from end to end, how do you fix that back.
You can use the vise grip with the en cap in place.. a lot easier than holding it with the pliers...
Not if it went inside, though. Mine went inside during shipping, so it wasn't even sticking out!
thank man
Excelente
Henry P is correct. I could never transition from the vice grip to the needle nose. Just wound it with the endcap instead.
Thanks so much! I got it fixed, but now I am still wondering, did I break it? Or was it broken when it arrived? What is that little key for? Am I supposed to put that in the hole before I use it? SO many questions, and the idiots sent zero instructions.
