I surfed OB for 5 years. it's so hard to be in the right spot for those waves. Everyone thinks its so easy to pic a peak and sit there but on a day like this, it's so difficult to be where those sets are. Must be very dialed to understand position there
That's the first thought I had. When the peak is feathering for 100 yards, where to sit? I can imagine the current keeps you paddling too. Also, don't ride too far inside, it's not worth it. LOL

@@topherdean1024 on these days, you paddle at 75% power against the current just to stay in one place
