This is one of my favorite videos I have seen on TH-cam recently. With most filmers checked out and most cool trucks gone it’s great to see someone still bringing quality videos to the table. A very cool underlooked truck and a classic feel. Great work!
Wow, Nic, this was a real treat to watch! Not just because I have filmed this exact truck and driver myself, but because I can personally name almost every stop since I drove through that area daily for years. I've been hoping for a long time that someone else would finally document TCSD, specifically their rear load operations - not just that, but since I also went through that Walgreens/Good Earth complex so often, I've always wanted to see those dumpsters be collected, so around the 7:33 mark it got even better haha. Plus, TCSD has arguably the neatest fleet in Northern California - super glad Orlando and Nick could show you around! Excellently made video, sure hits home for me - again, fantastic work!!
Awesome video! I really enjoyed how you took the time to get all the driving shots, that's definitely not easy to do! Who would have known 20 years later this truck would still be roaming the streets IN Marin County no less.
Wow! More footage of this awesome Mack! Love it! Do you happen to know what year this one is? Also, did you get any incab driving shots? If so I'd love to see that! I noticed the last clip was the engine shutting down from in the cab - that's why I'm wondering if you got any incab driving. If not, definitely go back and get a super long unedited ride along so I can hear this beast running through the gears, as well as the packer from in the cab - that would be more than awesome!!
why do they need 2 guys to empty small dumpsters that is crazy ! when i worked it was just 1 man operation. or the driver and a plug would empty the dumpster and we would swap duties . try dumping longer way longer dumpsters and much much deeper dumpsters been there and dumped that dumpster we worked for B.F.I. east coast operations great company .
Typically one man will do recycling while the other is doing trash but, they both were in the same truck so I could catch both trucks. The other vid will be out soon
I’m sure glad when I was in the waste industry we used front loaders a lot better then wasting time packing then bringing the bin down that’s if it empty out the first time. Front loader quickly dump n go. And I too drove a Rear Loader for BFI Los Angeles Ca. District
@@barryl3090 yes those were the days my brother but just like everything else it comes to a end . I’m sure you heard of SCA Services that’s where it started for me in the waste industry back in 76 you stay Awesome my brother.
