Small tip : In the second frame with the red big heart flip it horizontally which will give a nice rotating animation.

Thank you for making this! Everything works perfectly except the background image which flashes with smart animation in between screens. Is there anyway to animate the heart only and exclude other components?
Hi Melody, this could be happening due to similar names of the layer. Make sure the background image is in the last order of layers panel, have a unique name and check if it's in a group that has changing property during the frame transitions.
When i recorded it there was no way to animate the heart alone but now this can be done easily via interactive variants. I will be releasing a tutorial in a few days for that in a few days, stay tuned.

Figma should make an Animation Component for theses type of micro-interaction so they can be used throughout the entire project like in Principle or Flinto.
Agreed! Abdo. They should create component states like Principle or Flinto, also a timeline feature and video support is a must. Figma is lagging behind a lot. Principle or flinto are much superior tools, just that their price and Mac only availability is hampering them.

Yes absolutely, now you can use components and variant interaction and use it everywhere. When i recorded this video, these features were not available, hence i resorted to these artboard interactions.
