Nice! I’m in the process of learning this and I’m getting tripped up on the 2nd back sticking variation. Any tips on that section or back sticking in general?
Make an exercise to isolate this section. Do a short-short-long for the right hand backsticks (rll rll rll) and same thing for the left (rll rll rll) to work on the back stick motion and sound consistency. In general, try to eliminate as much movement in the back stick as possible to be most efficient with speed and energy. Especially with left hands, go more to the side than over for the back stick.
