As we as Christ's followers are never to old to learn new and different techniques used by in the kingdom of God on earth throuğh God's Generals. I love Curry Blake, and I love his teaching of the word of God. I will admit that it frustrates me on this teaching of the fig tree because I don’t believe he did his homework regarding it. And I would love to know how to get a hold of him in regards to it. For anybody else listening to this - the fig trees in Israel are different and there is a type of fig tree that when the leaves come, the fruit comes at the same time, I happen to own one, and putting the verse in context to the fact that Jesus just left the Pharisees and the temple and being upset with what he saw going on. He had been calling out the Pharisees as hypocrites, and when he walked up to the fig tree, and saw that it had leaves, but no fruit, he was calling it a hypocrite as well! Because that fig tree when it had leaves, it was supposed to have figs, so it was proclaiming to have some thing that It did not! Again, I enjoy his teachings- I think there is so much more to this one in particular that can be taught.
This is a really interesting teaching with a good ref from the bible. Thank you. I hope the JGL ministry reads this and comes back with a reply. 😊 Would Mr Lake be happy to share examples of where this has worked in his life? Tangible results, areas in his life that have been transformed from this hope and belief? Thank you
