    My Mum was born in Plymouth. Her Dad, my grandad, was in the Royal Navy so they moved about for his job. She went to school in England, Scotland and Ireland. In Ireland, her being protestant her and her brother had stones thrown at them while walking to school. Mom was born in 1907 it was so different back then.

    I LOVE the fact that Ricky cares so much about and gets angry and upset about his ancestors and how they got treated and there struggles at that time 150 years ago , he has always been a huge voice for fairness of the working class especially in Liverpool, he is an amazing man and a m proud to be from the same city as him

    Of course he’s proud of his ancestors!! Not only did they help revolutionize unions, they were free & fair thinkers! I’d be proud, too
