I am a Pediatric Surgeon who regularly swam > an hour a day, now unable. This "Resistance Swimming" should come handy in a domestic way. I am not sure how much will this 'novel technique' suit me?! and cost me to South India?!

Phew ! This is just what I have been dreaming about for a long time.
the only downside for buying one as a competitive swimmer is that fact that you cannot practice your turns and pushoffs which is HUGE in swim practice. Not if you're training for a triathalon though.

When I eventually move into my dream home, a house on the ocean in Huntington Beach, California with my sweet love, John, I want to get one of those Endless Pools. I wonder if they make one that can go up to 5 or 7 feet deep? And, when we have our children, they might want to swim in the pool, and maybe have a diving board and a water slide! Is it possible to have those as additions to one of these pools?

I have been looking at them for years and have dreamed of having one. But I am afraid of asking the price. I imagine that they are close to $20,000.00.
14,000 and up I think for the ones with the endless pools. When you start to add things like the treadmill and separate jacuzzi, I'm sure the price goes up. I don't know what's standard though. Looking into buying one myself.

Does anyone know what makes this pool different than the Viking TitalFit. I am looking to buy a pool like this but do not know the difference on why one would choose one over the other.
+alwayscatlike The main difference is the quality of the current. TidalFit uses jets, which have just a few speeds, create a very turbulent current with lots of bubbles, and may still not be strong enough to swim against without using an ankle or waist tether.
The Endless Pool has a smooth, fully adjustable current that's propeller-generated. The current is wider than your body, deeper than your stroke, and free of bubbles and turbulence. The Endless Pool has 52 speeds so it can suit every level, from beginner to Olympian. As you can see in this video, our signature current lets you swim without a tether.

Can you make is a salt water pool to cut down on maintenance costs?
Good question, Ernest. First, let me mention that, like salt-water pools, Endless Pools require just a little chlorine. Our pools all use an inexpensive mineral sanitizer that lets you can keep the water crystal clear with less chlorine than is allowable in tap water, so it's very gentle on your skin and hair.
We don't recommend salt systems for the Endless Pool. The salt will corrode many of the components required to create our signature swim current. Fortunately, you will still find maintenance on an Endless Pool to be significantly easier and more affordable than with a traditional pool.

I've known about your product since the day it came out. I do solar since 76. Unfortunately, most people get toys but don't use them! Yup, I got your original VCR! I was going to be a dealer back then, but I found out pools are actually "aquatic landscaping", rather have a pool to show off but hardly ever use. Sad. I'm a varsity swimmer and I was doing a mile plus three times a week at 24 Hour Fitness, till Miss Corona kicked me out of all their pools. Waaa!
