- The raw video showing how streets of Riyadh look like ...from the suburbs to the downtown. The way I travel every day from our office to the apartment complex close to Al-Mamlaka (The Kindom) Tower. (Recorded by Samsung Galaxy Note 1)
I was born and raised in this beautiful city. Lived in it for 24 years before my family and I had to leave it for good. It’s been a year and my heart still burns and yearns to go back to the home it knows… I’m praying that I will get to be there again, but this video felt like a sip of water after a walk in the desert.. thank you so much…

Why Saudi Arabia is considered rich in the Middle East, but there is no good infrastructure development in this city (Riyadh). But if you go to UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) its fantastic and amazing. Doha in Qatar is also fantastic. Why Saudi Arabia is left behind, but some consider it as the biggest oil producer.
Dude , Saudi Arabia is richer than Dubai. Look at the Mega project that it is making, it is more expensive than the palm island of Dubai. In 2018(estimated) it will be more fantastic than Dubai. By the way the mega project is the King Abdullah city (including the tallest building in the world). This will break the record of Dubai. Just read the things why it is better known than Dubai. And Dubai is basically a small nation.

The government is really focused on mecca and expanding the two holy mosques and those projects are multi-billionaire projects so most of the oil revenues are going into that, I've lived in riyadh all my life and it really has changed into the best in last 10 years, You can see the change if you search some old photos of riyadh and saudi arabia in general.
I really don't know why some photos show riyadh as an ugly city, It's a beautiful city and really busy and full of life Whenever i travel outside of the kingdom i really miss it so bad lol.
I know that some people find it too conservative and too i don't know religious ? But that's the truth of the matter saudi arabia is an islamic country so yeah.

Because qatar and uae are tiny country thus their cities are manageable. The goods, jobs and wealth are evenly distributed and well concentrated on a single spot. Take singapore as an example.

+hilbert2547 Well, a Saudi citizen must request a visit visa for you through the mofa.gov.sa they can do it online nowadays. I think it is valid for 3-6 months. Another way to do it is by a business requesting your visit for whatever reason such as consultation etc.
