Susan, once again I think you have saved my sanity!😅not only are these absolutely gorgeous but I have so many "pairs" of gems, for earrings that I just haven't quite known what to do with.....thank you so so much. You are amazing!
Thank you, Clara! I sell them in my Amazon Associates store... here is the link, they are middle of the page if you scroll down... www.perfectlytwistedjewelry.com/buy-tools-and-supplies.html Thank you again!
Thank you Wildflower! I buy copper at RioGrande.com... it's normally raw and orange, but the end result is that I oxidize the copper and then polish it out.. this makes it look a bit more golden vs orange or red. I hope that helps!
@ Thank you. That’s where I get mine too. Yours looks more golden to me from the start. Maybe it’s the lighting… or my eyes. lol Thank you for the info and all the beautiful tutorials that you share. ❤️
This earring design is so nice! If we use liver of sulfur to antique the finished earrings, will that darken the quartz cabs from Panda Hall? The cabs are so cute, but I'm an LOS girl. Thoughts?
Hi there, thank you! I haven't had any issues using LOS on these cabs so far, so go for it, I can't promise, but so far, I've not had issues. Thanks again!
@@PerfectlyTwistedJewelry I'm very happy with the LOS result -- and I am having fun making different variations on this design -- especially after watching the live last weekend for this. I was having much trouble attaching the backing half circles. So I marked and hammered the back part of the u bend backing (if that makes sense) and there seemed to be more stability while attaching them to the frame. Also, my old eyes require more light -- using back lighting allowed me to see where the wires were going, adjusting and cutting and pinching. I'm almost happy with my frame -- lol.
I accidentally bought a big quantity of bare copper wire and want to see if you know how I can treat them prior to making my jewelry so they keep the shiny copper color? Any advice is very appreciated
Hi Rachel ! Thanks for watching, if you're asking about how to store all that copper so it doesn't oxidize, then you can just keep it wrapped in plastic or in a ziploc airtight bag. The wire oxidized being exposed to air, but on the spool, if it's not handled, it shouldn't turn too quickly. It's the acidity from our hands also. Having said that, if you're living in a humid climate then sometime the wire turns on the spool too... so just keeping the air off of it will help keep in cleaner until you use it. I hope that helps!
I also sell this in my Amazon Associates store if you want this exact board... here is the link and it's the first item in the store. ... www.perfectlytwistedjewelry.com/buy-tools-and-supplies.html Thankyou!
You are really good at this... I've seen a few 🫣 You have the skills that keep people involved. I'm going to send a friend. She is trying to start and you can tell she gets sidetracked easily.... Thank you so much for sharing
You're very welcome for the free tutorial! I'm very happy that you love the design! I must say however, that it is not at all shameful for Artists to make income. In order for me to provide these long form, step by step, quality tutorials, it takes me days to make one. I get paid by these adverts running on my tutorials, as do all content creators, who are in business and supporting their homes, families and businesses via their TH-cam channel. TH-cam does have a Premium subscription which you can pay to TH-cam, I think it's about $15 or so a month and then you could watch everything and anything on TH-cam advert free. If I were not able to run adverts, then I'd simply not be able to maintain giving free tutorials for my beloved viewers who are not able to pay for an advert free experience. So you see, there is always a trade for patience and I do appreciate yours while the adverts run, perhaps knowing now, that your patience supports not only my business, but also this wire wrapping art community as a whole... most content creators, I'm betting, would have to stop giving free videos to the pubic if they were not being paid in trade for the adverts running. Again, you always have the option to pay TH-cam for advert free viewing. Thanks again for watching.

What is the surface you are working on? Looks like a sewing surface? Maybe?
It's called a Cricut Board. They can be found in most craft and sewing stores.🙏💓
