  • I welded scrap steel to make a handle for my new beehive scale. Feeding my beehives sugar syrup to a target weight in the fall ensures zero winter loss.
As a professional Maker and Honey Bee Farmer I do lots of things hobbyists don't do. Some are sketchy. If you're not comfortable doing what I do, don't do it. This is the way I work.
    Thank you for watching!

Nice. Now this is “classic” Branch and Foundry.

@@branchandfoundry560 It’s a strong first video! Lighting, composition and image quality are excellent. Editing will get better every single time you do it. It’s all about practice and learning little tricks that then go into the next edit. Before you know it, a style and character develops and you’re off and running. Just keep doing it. You’re off to a great start.
If you really want to have fun, start a beekeeping channel and express any opinion whatsoever and watch the comments roll in.

@@vinofarm Thank you, Jim! I do plan to start a HoneyOnWales channel soon! It'll be an archive of gear and practices that work, gear to avoid & why and what I've learned from my hive monitor data. In short--how bee club lead me to kill 100s of hives over seven years, and how my two commercial mentors taught me (and my Mentees) to achieve & expect zero winter loss.
