ExpressVote Voting System

I've worked as an Inspector over 10years with New York State. This video showed how you vote here in Fairfax County. This first I've seen this electronic selection on a machine for candidates. Then put into scanner. Oppose to filling the circles for candidate. More precise and legible. Also over voting is a major for voids. Creating problems with tabulation at end of day. I'm impressed...I look forward to meeting your team.

As a blind voter, this Machine is excellent. I voted with no problem. I am all the way in Alabama, but I'm going to assume it is the same machine that I had used because that was the company. For any fellow blind voters, don't worry. It works really well. I don't remember if it was mentioned, but there is also an easy to use selection system set up like a remote control. Left arrow, right arrow, up arrow, down arrow, and select in the middle. It is simple as that no problem at all. Thanks to this system, I didn't have to rush my voting.

It was a little confusing when the guy ahead of me pointed out that the machine was telling us to insert the ballot face-up for scanning, while the poll worker/poll watcher was telling us to insert it face-down. I assume the machines would tell you if you put it in the wrong way?

This machine is for voters who has a problem in standing or visual impaired its easy and simple.

We have several election officers at each poll on Election Day to assist voters with questions or if you need help with the voting machine. You do not put your name or any other identifier on the machine/ballot when you vote. If you need further information, please call us at 703-222-0776 .
