These are so big they seem to stall quite easily. I'm sure they are tricky to fly and yet they are the gentle giants on a good day out on the beach.

Hello, does anyone know where you can buy these very large two line kites? I live in UK (England) and have only found one kite over 3m wing span (3.6m) priced at £282 which seems a bit expensive. Thanks.

Hi there,
no, not exactly. The £282 kite I mentioned I decided to buy. It's a Fazer XXL. If you put that phrase in on either Ebay or Amazon you should find one. I paid about £257 for mine and still haven't flown it yet but hoping to get the right day soon. Looks like it might carry me away on a 15 mph breeze! I have searched on the net and there are one or two makers of large kites out there but they are in the order of £200-500 each. Another very cheap option for a large(ish) kite is the Jago delta stunt kite (wingspan 2.6m) currently £13.69 + postage on Amazon! Try flying it on a 80-100m line 2 or 3m off the ground. Do you either own or know where to buy a large 2-line kite?
I just have 4 wee cheap assorted kites. Might buy that Jago delta you mentioned. I have a two-line stunt kite but it's either faulty or I'm just not good at controlling it. It's crashes all the time. I think I'll take it to bits, just for the rods, then buy some fabric and make a big flo-tail. I love tails and laundry. Bought a very cheap cobra kite last week with 45 foot tail, under £6. It was worth it just for that tail.
The Jago is very good value for money and quite tough but don't fly it in wind much more than 17 mph as it pulls hard and might break. Get 2 and try strengthening one of them as an experiment. What's the kite you can't fly called? I can't fly my HQ Whizz.
It's a cheap Eolo sport flame I've had for about 6 years. I wonder if the bigger stunt kites are easier to fly? I'd like to whip a long black n white around tail on one. They look fantastic. Anyway, I'm going to buy some rip stop this weekend and a couple of those very long streamer flags and make my own flo-tail kite using frame parts off this Eolo. Bought the colours in motion f-tail delta xm recently. It look great but I want something bigger, longer & flashier (that's cheap).
