My home state's fair is never too insane, but it always gives a hell of a moment every year. Last time I went to the fair was the year when Ted Cruz took that photo of him trying to pretend about butter when he obviously couldn't care about butter. I was about 20 feet down the hall seeing it happen.

Who could afford a fair anymore cheaper to go to six flags food drinks rides what did that all cost if you add it all up. Especially if you have a family of six
It depends on what you want to do. If you love rides or want to try all of the food available, it will be more expensive than an amusement park. But if you want to see live entertainment, farm shows, and art displays, those are pretty much all free.

In the 70's, we chose to see the butter cow over Elvis Presley who was near his end. We were too young and dumb!
