Me: i hope there's no more boss harder than starcrusher swarm king HSR: here's RNG boss (ﾉ≧ڡ≦) make sure healer/shield character have more effect resist.. before entering phase 2, i suggest to heal up/shield and collect more skill points 5:11.. you can save up ultimate and use it for gamble only 6:19 for character that doesn't have AoE attack like SUSHANG/MARCH 7th... meanwhile for character that have AoE/blast attack/skill like SERVAL, you can spam his/her ultimate to lower boss weakness.. AOE(area of effect)/blast character is recommended..
For anyone struggling, here are a couple of tips 1) make sure to use a team with AoE/bounce attacks. Aventurine's dice attack only deals damage if you're points are lower than his. If you hit both dice at the same time, the points immediately add up. Use a character with an AoE ult (like Pela) since the dice attack only resolves after the character end their turn. Also, going beyond Aventurine's points restores your energy to full so dont be hesistant with using ults. You can also cheese out phase 2 dice attack by spamming ult and going beyond Aventurine's points 2) Aventurine ALWAYS does the dice attack on his fourth attack (that means he does it on his second action every other turns). Make sure to only use ults during the dice attack and then again after the dice attack restores your energy for winning the gamble. 3) DO NOT use characters that only have single target attacks. In my experience, these characters will end up getting wiped first on the first phase and will not survive on the upgrade dice attack on the second phase. Try using these supports instead: Asta, Pela, Luocha, Gallagher, March 7th, Fire MC
I gotta start building all those properly cuz their builds (I'm realizing now) need some SERIOUS optimizing. That, and I haven't touched March in MONTHS, so thank you for giving me a reason to 🙏🏼
@@whateverforever7983 dw too much abt march. I just placed her there since you could save up her ult when she gets diced and use ult + basic atk to always win the gamble. Other than that, you might struggle with her having sustain cuz so many bosses do AoE attacks including Aven boss

Adding some bonus tips: 1) BRING FOLLOW-UP ATTACKERS. AoE works fine, but follow-up attackers like Jing Yuan, Topaz, and Clara (ESPECIALLY CLARA) can shred Aventurine in BOTH the AoE dice and when it's Aventurine solo. March is also recommended due to her Ult, freeze, and shields for tanking/cleansing. 2) EFFECT RES WILL SAVE YOU. If you've played long enough and noticed how debuff cleansing works, you will understand why I say this. Also, the Effect Res ornament is really good for more crit. 3) BRING CHARACTERS WITH ACTION ADVANCE (aside from Seele, since you can't kill the dice to trigger Resurgence). This is why FOLLOW-UP is really good for this fight, since those follow-up attacks are "actions advanced" in their own ways. 4) BRING CLEANSERS. You want to get rid of Imprison as soon as possible, otherwise your characters will be quite literally Slowed while Aventurine decimates your team. Characters who can self-cleanse, resist debuffs, or attack even while Imprisoned, like CLARA, TOPAZ, FU XUAN, GEPARD, and LYNX are great examples. And also, restating the essentials... YOUR FIRST GOAL IS TO SURVIVE. No matter how long it takes. AOE HELPS BEAT THE GAMBLE MATCH AVENTURINE'S WEAKNESSES: PHYSICAL, ICE, and LIGHTNING. SAVE YOUR ENEMY-HITTING ULTIMATES. This is especially true for 2nd phase. It doesn't matter if they're AoE or not. They still count as an extra hit for the character, giving you more chance to "Win The Gamble" and not get Imprisoned. With that, here's some character recommendations for this fight, and why they're placed this way: 1. Clara (Follow-up attacker WHEN HIT, can tank, can cleanse debuffs on her if hit, AoE SKILL, Physical, SP neutral) 2. March 7th (Follow-up attacks WHEN ENEMIES HIT HER SHIELDS, cleanses on SKILL, AoE ULT, Ice, heals at E6) 3. Pela (DEF shred, AoE ULT, Ice, can recharge her Ultimate fast if you build her with Energy Regen and Resolution, SP positive, *battery for Acheron/Kafka) 4. Acheron (AoE Lightning) 5. Argenti (AoE Physical, ULT can also work for single-target) 6. Ruan Mei (Buffs Speed and Weakness Break, Ice, can tank when built) 7. Sushang (Action Advance after ULT, Physical) 8. Kafka (Follow-up when other characters use Basics, enables DoT shredding, AoE SKILL and ULT, Lightning) 9. Jing Yuan (AoE, Follow-up Action Advances when JY uses SKILL + ULT) 10. Serval (AoE Lightning, Shock side DMG) 11. Luka (Bleed DoT, Physical) 12. Gepard (Ice Shield + emergency revive if everything goes wrong) 13. Abundance in general (survive by heals) 14. Bronya (Cleanse, DMG buffing, Action Advance) 15. Topaz (Numby attacks even when Topaz is stunned, Follow-up buffer) Okay: - Herta (can only trigger her passive once per phase, since only Aventurine can take DMG under 50% HP) - Himeko (only Aventurine can be broken, slow use of passive) - Sparkle (Action Advance + SP, no cleanse tho) - Tingyun (GREAT BATTERY, really squishy without built shields + heals + cleanse tho) - Asta (SPD buffing, low personal DMG, no weakness, and RNG AoE on her Skill) - Dr. Ratio (Follow-up attacker, single-target DMG tho) - Welt (can Slow Aventurine down so you can take more actions to whittle health) Not recommended even though they follow the tips: - Yanqing (his passive and squishy health make him tough to use) - Arlan (lower end of DMG)
Ratio doesn’t really work well for this fight since the boss has (40%) resistance to imaginary so his damage is kinda bottlenecked and if your team is somewhat slow paced his ult is made even less impactful due to the dice phase. Additionally, when it comes to sustain. Gallagher/Luocha are by far the best abundance healers since they both have aoe on their ult which also has the bonus of letting them heal for free (either by setting up terrain, or by applying Besotted on the dice) but arguably the single best character for the entire fight is Fu Xuan since she already has her insane damage mitigation with her skill but also, she both restores hp for the entire team and gives her back one charge for her talent heal meaning she theoretically could likely (very easily) solo the entirety of phase two

Before he was nerfed, I tried using FX, RM, Daniel, and Sparkle, but the part where you spin the dice would literally obliterate FX's HP since all of them except Daniel can only do single target attacks 😭 And considering almost every attack that he does is aoe, FX definitely couldn't do this on her own.
If you guy have Clara then you should absolutely use her. She is literally the best unit for though bosses with physical weakness. For preservation units and abundance units u wanna have a good amount of effect res for next stage if they don’t get enough hits on the dices and have a higher chance of resisting the imprisonment. One last tip is to definitely and almost a must to bring characters that can freeze it’s super helpful. The team I used was Clara, Ruan mei, Gerard, lynx if u wanted to know
For anyone needing help this is what I used Fire trailblazer, march, natasha and dr ratio and finished him first try, you wanna focus on defense and let march slowly damage him. Trailblazer you wanna spam his shield on the characters unless the boss is opened to attacks (once his shield is gone), march you wanna defend natasha then herself then trailblazer then ratio, natasha just slowly heals everyone and dr ratio just his basic attack. It took about an hour to complete it since it takes time but just focus on defending the characters from the attacks and healing them with natasha, when the boss hits a character march will instantly hit him back and that's how you slowly damage him and win. His domain expansion is very annoying but every time you get the opportunity use natasha to heal everyone. Patience is key if you're f2p and barely have any characters like me, these were all free and obtained throughout the story. Hope this helps :)
@@yazzy3177 ratio because he's free and he does that attack sometimes that takes a lot of damage so it worked for me, but any character that works for you is good. The main goal is to bring shield and healer based characters to tank all the damage the boss throws
Unless you're running a full Hunt team with a bunch of glass cannons, you'll always win the gamble in Phase 2. You just have to make sure you have units that can hit AoE. It's not really RNG either, as it's impossible to win the roll with a single target attack. Likewise, you'll always win the roll if you have AoE. The game forces you to prepare a certain teamcomp to make this boss easier. Is it possible otherwise? Sure. It's not going to be fun though.
for those who still can't beat adventurine, i def reco fire mc rather than physical mc. her shield helped my characters a lot and during the dice attack, ill just have to use the basic attack to hit both of the dice and the points will usually be more than nine. if you have her, acheron is also really good especially during the dice attack when you can just spam her ult after the dice attack.
People who just started, like me, can't really get good builds, my dhil is just barely useable Especially if you don't have chars built which he's weak too You can defo cheese him with dps triple sustain even though it takes like almost an hour (totally not me)
Im not struggling because my builds are bad. I’m struggling because as soon as I hit the second phase he’s constantly getting high numbers and makes it impossible to do damage before I’m locked in another gamble.

Ended up clearing this fight with sparkle, luocha, misha and jingyuan. 1st phase focused on jingyuan to skip through it faster, and 2nd phase was just me spamming misha and giving him as many turns as possible to get his ult before aventurine's dice thing. I just kept freezing him right before he tries to use it🤣My friend cleared it with acheron, ruan mei, fire mc and natasha
If anyone still needs help, this is the team i used- jingliu, jing yuan, huo huo and fire mc. For fire mc u only use the skill to have a shield and use his normal atack on the dice atack, for huo huo just use her healing skill, for jingliu use her normally but try to have her skill ready for the dice and for jing yuan just use normal atacks and then use the skill on the dice. Using this team was actually really easy and i was trying forever. And all my characters survived somehow 😨
I used Herta, Luocha (can be substitute with Gallagher), Tingyun (Asta might be better since she has AoE), and Pela. Throughout the battle I realised that you should only use Ult for the dice, and so I saved my Ult until the dice phase. It took me a while, but I managed to defeat him.
Thank you for posting this! I have level 80 March 7th and Natasha, but my Serval is 70 (I lucked out and got Jing Yuan during his latest rerun, so I built him to 80 and have been using him instead), and I have level 80 physical trailblazer instead of Sushang. My light cones are level 70 though and my relics are decent but not amazing. I also have basically no eidolons for my characters either except Trailblazer. AND YET, I still haven't beaten Aventurine.
As someone who was struggling with this boss here are some tips I can provide after beating him Team I used: Jingliu, Physical Trailblazer, Bailu, March 7th - I reccomend you use a team made out of mosting AoE capable characters, if you are using march or a good sheilder, you can have at least one single target character (in my case bailu) - Take your time with this boss, don't try to rush him, save your ults until the gambling, ESPECIALLY during the second phase - If you do have a single target character, like a healer, if the gamble number is above 6 (or honestly just when your chances are low lol) don't be afraid to just use their skill instead to heal or provide a buff - you are able to burst immediatly after hitting the dice/before hitting the dice, for example, you attack the die and then get enough energy to burst, if you burst before you hit the dice with a normal or skill you will still have the turn to attack and the points recieved from both actions are added together - Try to avoid Imaginary characters mainly because (from what I heard) Aventurine has a high resistence to that type (mainly luocha, idk why but that man just kept on getting one shotted lol) -Finally save up your skill points for gamble, only normal attack outside of it, again, mainly during the second phase, the only time I used a skill point outside of it was to shield and use Jingliu's skill to get a stack for her passive skill Tbh I recommend reading the other comments here as they provide better tips, but it was someone's comment that helped me beat this boss so I thought I should pay it forward. Hoyoverse please nerf this man (for story at least as I was in E6 hell)

I'm actually planning to use Fire MC¹, March², Acheron³, and Welt⁴ for this. But now is not the right time for that. I still have to wait for version 2.2 to be released, and I still need to get Welt from standard banner with only 30 pulls left. Not to mention the builds.😅
Probably due to how qq and sparkle are a very rng pair. You probably need aoe, a main damage unit, or a dot unit But im not telling you how to play since i dont play hsr I just think your team is support focused (which alot of hsr teams are)
Took me so many tries, but ended up clearing the fight FINALLY with Argenti, Natasha, Jing Yuan, and Himeko. I ended up having to do AoE damage and had Natasha do all the healing. And I realized after that fight with Aventurine, I definitely need to grind out better relics. That Aventurine boss was HARD, but I'm still pulling for ya man.
It took awhile, but I was told to use Archeron and Black Swan. So I stopped being lazy and built them more. I used Fu Xuan, Black Swan, Archeron and Lynx as a fail safe in case Fu Xuan couldn't output enough healining. On stage 1. I tried as best as possible too sync Fu Xuans ultimate with the ultimate you get after winning the gamble. On stage 2. I synced Fu Xuans ultimate for each time the gamble would take place. Everytime Archeron and Black Swan won the gamble. I used they're ultimate's to bring down the toughness bar and HP. And boom. Won
I have tried a lot of team combinations but then i was able to get across this battle using March, Serval, Natasha and Luka i wish i could have figured it out sooner before trying so many teams and characters.
Heres my f2p team: TRASH BUILD, NOT MAXED TRACE, TRASH LIGHTCONE NO MAX LVL. (equilibrium 3 im lvl 43) March lvl 48, acheron lvl 57, Natasha lvl 49 and fire mc lvl 56. If you dont have acheron, you can try using serval or any other dps. While i dont have good dmg i make up by eating crit rate food and max health drink. (Blue rarity because im stingy 😅) First phase is easy, just keep healing, and slowly kill it. Second phase its hard if you dont know what to do, what i did was NEVER use march ultimate unless to hit the dices, then shield anyone low hp or goibg to die, natasha heals or use attack for skill points. Acheron can use skill while fire mc can use passive to hit 3. Try avoiding using the fire mc passive in fight, using skill can avoid it and just waste in on dices. And on fighting dont use skill unles necessarily because you need to accumulate them when fighting to dices, the only dmg you are going to do is using ultimate of fire mc and acheron. Well the fight took a while but thats because i used Fu Xian, Luocha, March 7th and Clara. Yes I went more for survivability than outright dps but it worked and tbh March and Clara proved vital to the win.
- you can start focus on 4 character you want to use in this battle (find better relics/ornament/equip).. - no need to use the same formation as i do, if you have 5star character is more better (argenti, acheron, bailu, gepard, jingyuan, kafka etc)..
@@V4Van I used four different teams in this 2 months at first it was with Blade, Acheron, Bailu and Herta. Then I switched blade with trailblazer destruction, even in the middle I switched to Serval. I used the same team like yours using Sushang, Natasha, March 7th and Serval. That didn't work out too, though I tired to have the same build as yours I just didn't have that many ES. Then with that team Sushang would lose in all or nothing with Natasha always backing her up. So I switched Sushang with Herta. I tired that today thrice it didn't work out either in phase two by 80% they all die.

My sister couldn't defeat this bish with lvl 70 Imbibitor Lunae, Jing Yuan, Natasha and Blackswan but killed the bish with a lvl 50 Acheron (she didn't even have relics) a lvl 60 Pela, lvl 70 Imbibitor Lunae and Natasha 💀
Yesterday finally i'm done it with team Fire Trailblazer serval Jing Liu and Ancheron but Serval and Ancheron knockout in phares 2 but in phares 2 there unique here used fire trailbalzer defend to mock aventurine so aventurine focus to Stelle and my Jing Liu Focus to attack little by little

The funny part is that yesterday, I pulled on Acheron banner to see if I was lucky to get her, but instead I got Yanqing. Thanks to him and physical mc (ofc Nat and March too) I beated Adventurine and also have him guaranteed 😊 So.. @@DhikaPratama-zy3bwthe enemies are different level for each player’s equilibrium. Im at equilibrium 5, so the boss is level 70+ while other enemies beside bosses are level 65+
@@beecause4724 ohh because when they said level 90 I was like "what? The boss was level 58 for me" but I didn't mention it because I didn't want to cause any confusion or misunderstandings . I thought it was the same for everyone, I'm still new to Hsr! 😅
The key is to use the ultimate skill with the big range to roll the dice and a healer like natasha, my combinantion is just mc + dan heng + march + natasha with level 60 but I don’t really recommend original dan heng since he can only max roll the dice twice
i have been using danil sparkle tingyun and bailu so basically i fcked up in this boss battle then i decided to build kafka blackswan lynx and gepard using all my fuels its does deal small damages but what's important is both my dps have aoe, and 2 sustains do they can protect each other as they dont have aoe if you always get one hit, just upgrade your helm relics, thats basically my kafka black swan. I need to keep them alive using gepard and lynx heal
This video helped a ton and the comments. I beat this with Natasha March Clara and serval. Make sure you unlock the cleanse traces on both March and Natasha to cleanse people from being imprisoned if they lost the roll! Saved my characters from dying. Serval and Clara despite using her aoe skill probably lost the roll a few times smh.
I lost the first time after using Acheron who is not built. I then switched to a team with my Jingliu (best built dps), Bronya, Fuxuan and Lynx. They carried me through mid game and brought me to victory. Bronya died in the first phase, so it is good to have a support/second dps that you’re okay with sacrificing. It is good to bring characters with blast/AOE attack mechanics and high energy regen. Save AOE/blast ults for the gamble attack. Fuxuan’s ult and Jingliu’s enhanced skill worked for me.
how i beat this boss fight: my team was bailu, march, fire mc(to recover SP, since he can hit all 4 of the dices during second phase, he's optional) and clara. my tips for beating this boss fight are: - DO NOT shield your healer in 1st phase if you're using march. her skill makes the shielded teammate more likely to be targeted. unless you have a well built gallagher, DON'T SHIELD YOUR HEALER!!! - for march, only shield characters with aoe attacks(jingyuan, clara, herta etc., preferably chars with followup attacks easy to trigger), since when they're gambling they can hit all dices at once. this is it for 1st phase. - during second phase, make sure to SHIELD your healer. hit all the dices with your other characters and manage your SP well. from there it becomes a loop. in my team it was dice phase, heal, shield healer with march, follow-up attack does damage when clara gets hit and so on until you beat the boss fight. hope this helps!!!

Team I lost with: BS, Kafka, Bailu, Acheron Team won: MC (Fire), Kafka, Bailu, Acheron Both of my team is NOT OPTIMAL (cs I rarely pull) but you need to know that you have to conserve SP while maintaining some survivability & rely on AOE for dmg especially during Aventurine RNG dice rolls attack. Good luck!
Beat this first try with Fu Xuan/Bailu/Clara/Dan Heng IL without having to use Bailu’s revive. It was pretty comfortable throughout without really having to use Bailu’s skill at all. Dan Heng IL never got to do much damage TBH, since I used his Skill Points on the gamble. My tip is to just take it slow with a lot of sustain and have at least 1-2 people who can do AOE attacks, if not someone that can make sure the damage following afterwards isn’t so bad instead. Hope this helps!

After seeing this I beefed up my aventurines artifacts for a big shield. Went in with Natasha Aventurine Yanqing and Serval. Ended up outsurviving his mechanics. Survivabilty over damage !
Used Acheron Luocha Pela SW, guess 5* characters are called 5* for a reason. Call me crazy but I found the blue swarm boss to be more irritating than this.
my teams: Main acc TL67 Clara Lv80 S1 Sparkle Lv80 Ruan Mei Lv80 Huohuo Lv80 Second acc TL53 Herta Lv60 E4 Sparkle Lv60 S1 March 7th Lv60 E1 Huohuo Lv60 My second account took hours to finish the fight but managed to beat it first try, whereas my main took shorter time yet I had to try about 5 times before I beat it.
This only took me Two tries I thought it would take me a lot of times- The team I used was, Fire trailblazer, lynx, Kafka. And March. I used heal with lynx and shielding for lynx when he does the gamble thing. And the second phase for the gamble thing. I sheilded lynx and March when I didn’t had marches ultimate-
@@V4Van my man thank you, I finally beat him after 2 hours of trying and rebuilding my team, ended up winning with gepard - natasha - serval - destruction mc. Your tips really helped, and the clara light cone was great for mc's damage.
Not to slander *Our General* but i had a bad experience with Jing Yuan, during the dice phase, Lightning-lord keeps attacking the dice, i was stuck on a loop of my Lightning-lord attacking the dice instead of Aventurine, had to haul out until i got enough ults to finish him, all thanks to the free energy Aventurine gives on the dice phase lmao
I FINALLY MANAGED TO BEAT THIS GUY AFTER BUILDING PELA ISTG WITHOUT HER I WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK ON THIS DAMN BOSS FIGHT FOREVER! (And just for context both my March and Pela were at lvl 60 and thanks to them constantly freezing the guy I was able to crit with acheron. The team I used was her, pela, March and lynx)
After 10 tries, I finally did it. It takes a bit of luck, 2 sustains, 2 aoe damage dealers. It takes some time but if you can manage your skill points and ultimates for gamble it works. It was hairy though. I used Acheron, black swan, links and gepard. Can use whoever though (I tried a few different comps) Keep trying, it unlocks the rest of the side stuff.
Unexpectedly I went through it in first attempt with DOT team with Kafka, Sampo, Ruan Mei and Loucha. It was a tough fight, my Loucha must died in the end. But my team was not the best choice to take there, I was lucky
Yes you can, I use serval because her eidolon 1 is can hit random enemy with basic attack.. When gamble i only use basic attack, aim middle dice and hit 3 of them(same if i use skill).. So i can get skill point more, Your formation will be heavy because all of them is using skill, but still can
I used Bailu, Gepard, Fire TB, and Blade and still died LMAO and the worst part is that first phase took forever to beat and I immediately died at phase two
@@V4Van yeah I changed TB to Jingyuan cuz he’s my only other aoe dps with boss weakness, and I cleared phase 1 faster, but I still died miserably in phase 2
Damn it was worst experience ever. I had only Stelle as Aoe damage dealer and my other team member (Bronya, Sparkle, Gepard) was always nearly to be wiped out. Ill never forget it Ended up by bringing Natasha with Gepard. My Stelle not wanted to do crits :((

For anyone struggling, here are a couple of tips
1) make sure to use a team with AoE/bounce attacks. Aventurine's dice attack only deals damage if you're points are lower than his. If you hit both dice at the same time, the points immediately add up. Use a character with an AoE ult (like Pela) since the dice attack only resolves after the character end their turn. Also, going beyond Aventurine's points restores your energy to full so dont be hesistant with using ults. You can also cheese out phase 2 dice attack by spamming ult and going beyond Aventurine's points
2) Aventurine ALWAYS does the dice attack on his fourth attack (that means he does it on his second action every other turns). Make sure to only use ults during the dice attack and then again after the dice attack restores your energy for winning the gamble.
3) DO NOT use characters that only have single target attacks. In my experience, these characters will end up getting wiped first on the first phase and will not survive on the upgrade dice attack on the second phase.
Try using these supports instead:
Asta, Pela, Luocha, Gallagher, March 7th, Fire MC
I gotta start building all those properly cuz their builds (I'm realizing now) need some SERIOUS optimizing. That, and I haven't touched March in MONTHS, so thank you for giving me a reason to 🙏🏼

Adding some bonus tips:
1) BRING FOLLOW-UP ATTACKERS. AoE works fine, but follow-up attackers like Jing Yuan, Topaz, and Clara (ESPECIALLY CLARA) can shred Aventurine in BOTH the AoE dice and when it's Aventurine solo. March is also recommended due to her Ult, freeze, and shields for tanking/cleansing.
2) EFFECT RES WILL SAVE YOU. If you've played long enough and noticed how debuff cleansing works, you will understand why I say this. Also, the Effect Res ornament is really good for more crit.
3) BRING CHARACTERS WITH ACTION ADVANCE (aside from Seele, since you can't kill the dice to trigger Resurgence). This is why FOLLOW-UP is really good for this fight, since those follow-up attacks are "actions advanced" in their own ways.
4) BRING CLEANSERS. You want to get rid of Imprison as soon as possible, otherwise your characters will be quite literally Slowed while Aventurine decimates your team. Characters who can self-cleanse, resist debuffs, or attack even while Imprisoned, like CLARA, TOPAZ, FU XUAN, GEPARD, and LYNX are great examples.
And also, restating the essentials...
YOUR FIRST GOAL IS TO SURVIVE. No matter how long it takes.
AOE HELPS BEAT THE GAMBLE
MATCH AVENTURINE'S WEAKNESSES: PHYSICAL, ICE, and LIGHTNING.
SAVE YOUR ENEMY-HITTING ULTIMATES. This is especially true for 2nd phase. It doesn't matter if they're AoE or not. They still count as an extra hit for the character, giving you more chance to "Win The Gamble" and not get Imprisoned.
With that, here's some character recommendations for this fight, and why they're placed this way:
1. Clara (Follow-up attacker WHEN HIT, can tank, can cleanse debuffs on her if hit, AoE SKILL, Physical, SP neutral)
2. March 7th (Follow-up attacks WHEN ENEMIES HIT HER SHIELDS, cleanses on SKILL, AoE ULT, Ice, heals at E6)
3. Pela (DEF shred, AoE ULT, Ice, can recharge her Ultimate fast if you build her with Energy Regen and Resolution, SP positive, *battery for Acheron/Kafka)
4. Acheron (AoE Lightning)
5. Argenti (AoE Physical, ULT can also work for single-target)
6. Ruan Mei (Buffs Speed and Weakness Break, Ice, can tank when built)
7. Sushang (Action Advance after ULT, Physical)
8. Kafka (Follow-up when other characters use Basics, enables DoT shredding, AoE SKILL and ULT, Lightning)
9. Jing Yuan (AoE, Follow-up Action Advances when JY uses SKILL + ULT)
10. Serval (AoE Lightning, Shock side DMG)
11. Luka (Bleed DoT, Physical)
12. Gepard (Ice Shield + emergency revive if everything goes wrong)
13. Abundance in general (survive by heals)
14. Bronya (Cleanse, DMG buffing, Action Advance)
15. Topaz (Numby attacks even when Topaz is stunned, Follow-up buffer)
Okay:
- Herta (can only trigger her passive once per phase, since only Aventurine can take DMG under 50% HP)
- Himeko (only Aventurine can be broken, slow use of passive)
- Sparkle (Action Advance + SP, no cleanse tho)
- Tingyun (GREAT BATTERY, really squishy without built shields + heals + cleanse tho)
- Asta (SPD buffing, low personal DMG, no weakness, and RNG AoE on her Skill)
- Dr. Ratio (Follow-up attacker, single-target DMG tho)
- Welt (can Slow Aventurine down so you can take more actions to whittle health)
Not recommended even though they follow the tips:
- Yanqing (his passive and squishy health make him tough to use)
- Arlan (lower end of DMG)

Ratio doesn’t really work well for this fight since the boss has (40%) resistance to imaginary so his damage is kinda bottlenecked and if your team is somewhat slow paced his ult is made even less impactful due to the dice phase.
Additionally, when it comes to sustain. Gallagher/Luocha are by far the best abundance healers since they both have aoe on their ult which also has the bonus of letting them heal for free (either by setting up terrain, or by applying Besotted on the dice) but arguably the single best character for the entire fight is Fu Xuan since she already has her insane damage mitigation with her skill but also, she both restores hp for the entire team and gives her back one charge for her talent heal meaning she theoretically could likely (very easily) solo the entirety of phase two

@@areyoutrippin9730 Yup. Before he was nerfed, I tried using FX, RM, Daniel, and Sparkle, but the part where you spin the dice would literally obliterate FX's HP since all of them except Daniel can only do single target attacks 😭
And considering almost every attack that he does is aoe, FX definitely couldn't do this on her own.

If you guy have Clara then you should absolutely use her. She is literally the best unit for though bosses with physical weakness. For preservation units and abundance units u wanna have a good amount of effect res for next stage if they don’t get enough hits on the dices and have a higher chance of resisting the imprisonment. One last tip is to definitely and almost a must to bring characters that can freeze it’s super helpful. The team I used was Clara, Ruan mei, Gerard, lynx if u wanted to know

and my clara is doing some numbers with 52,5 crit rate 168,5 crit dmg and 3k9 atk

For anyone needing help this is what I used
Fire trailblazer, march, natasha and dr ratio and finished him first try, you wanna focus on defense and let march slowly damage him. Trailblazer you wanna spam his shield on the characters unless the boss is opened to attacks (once his shield is gone), march you wanna defend natasha then herself then trailblazer then ratio, natasha just slowly heals everyone and dr ratio just his basic attack. It took about an hour to complete it since it takes time but just focus on defending the characters from the attacks and healing them with natasha, when the boss hits a character march will instantly hit him back and that's how you slowly damage him and win. His domain expansion is very annoying but every time you get the opportunity use natasha to heal everyone. Patience is key if you're f2p and barely have any characters like me, these were all free and obtained throughout the story. Hope this helps :)

I really think they should revaluate putting such a strong RNG based boss in a important mission such as this one being a Trailblaze one.
I mean by world 4 you should have a good idea of how the game works in terms of building characters.
Unless you're running a full Hunt team with a bunch of glass cannons, you'll always win the gamble in Phase 2. You just have to make sure you have units that can hit AoE.
It's not really RNG either, as it's impossible to win the roll with a single target attack. Likewise, you'll always win the roll if you have AoE. The game forces you to prepare a certain teamcomp to make this boss easier. Is it possible otherwise? Sure. It's not going to be fun though.

for those who still can't beat adventurine, i def reco fire mc rather than physical mc. her shield helped my characters a lot and during the dice attack, ill just have to use the basic attack to hit both of the dice and the points will usually be more than nine. if you have her, acheron is also really good especially during the dice attack when you can just spam her ult after the dice attack.

Ended up clearing this fight with sparkle, luocha, misha and jingyuan. 1st phase focused on jingyuan to skip through it faster, and 2nd phase was just me spamming misha and giving him as many turns as possible to get his ult before aventurine's dice thing. I just kept freezing him right before he tries to use it🤣My friend cleared it with acheron, ruan mei, fire mc and natasha
If anyone still needs help, this is the team i used- jingliu, jing yuan, huo huo and fire mc. For fire mc u only use the skill to have a shield and use his normal atack on the dice atack, for huo huo just use her healing skill, for jingliu use her normally but try to have her skill ready for the dice and for jing yuan just use normal atacks and then use the skill on the dice. Using this team was actually really easy and i was trying forever. And all my characters survived somehow 😨

I used Herta, Luocha (can be substitute with Gallagher), Tingyun (Asta might be better since she has AoE), and Pela. Throughout the battle I realised that you should only use Ult for the dice, and so I saved my Ult until the dice phase. It took me a while, but I managed to defeat him.
Thank you for posting this! I have level 80 March 7th and Natasha, but my Serval is 70 (I lucked out and got Jing Yuan during his latest rerun, so I built him to 80 and have been using him instead), and I have level 80 physical trailblazer instead of Sushang. My light cones are level 70 though and my relics are decent but not amazing. I also have basically no eidolons for my characters either except Trailblazer. AND YET, I still haven't beaten Aventurine.
I found that gallagher was really good healer aginst the boss cuz phase 2 ult spam
As someone who was struggling with this boss here are some tips I can provide after beating him
Team I used: Jingliu, Physical Trailblazer, Bailu, March 7th
- I reccomend you use a team made out of mosting AoE capable characters, if you are using march or a good sheilder, you can have at least one single target character (in my case bailu)
- Take your time with this boss, don't try to rush him, save your ults until the gambling, ESPECIALLY during the second phase
- If you do have a single target character, like a healer, if the gamble number is above 6 (or honestly just when your chances are low lol) don't be afraid to just use their skill instead to heal or provide a buff
- you are able to burst immediatly after hitting the dice/before hitting the dice, for example, you attack the die and then get enough energy to burst, if you burst before you hit the dice with a normal or skill you will still have the turn to attack and the points recieved from both actions are added together
- Try to avoid Imaginary characters mainly because (from what I heard) Aventurine has a high resistence to that type (mainly luocha, idk why but that man just kept on getting one shotted lol)
-Finally save up your skill points for gamble, only normal attack outside of it, again, mainly during the second phase, the only time I used a skill point outside of it was to shield and use Jingliu's skill to get a stack for her passive skill
Tbh I recommend reading the other comments here as they provide better tips, but it was someone's comment that helped me beat this boss so I thought I should pay it forward.

Probably due to how qq and sparkle are a very rng pair.
You probably need aoe, a main damage unit, or a dot unit
But im not telling you how to play since i dont play hsr I just think your team is support focused (which alot of hsr teams are)
Took me so many tries, but ended up clearing the fight FINALLY with Argenti, Natasha, Jing Yuan, and Himeko. I ended up having to do AoE damage and had Natasha do all the healing. And I realized after that fight with Aventurine, I definitely need to grind out better relics. That Aventurine boss was HARD, but I'm still pulling for ya man.
It took awhile, but I was told to use Archeron and Black Swan. So I stopped being lazy and built them more. I used Fu Xuan, Black Swan, Archeron and Lynx as a fail safe in case Fu Xuan couldn't output enough healining. On stage 1. I tried as best as possible too sync Fu Xuans ultimate with the ultimate you get after winning the gamble. On stage 2. I synced Fu Xuans ultimate for each time the gamble would take place. Everytime Archeron and Black Swan won the gamble. I used they're ultimate's to bring down the toughness bar and HP. And boom. Won
I have tried a lot of team combinations but then i was able to get across this battle using March, Serval, Natasha and Luka i wish i could have figured it out sooner before trying so many teams and characters.
Heres my f2p team: TRASH BUILD, NOT MAXED TRACE, TRASH LIGHTCONE NO MAX LVL. (equilibrium 3 im lvl 43)
March lvl 48, acheron lvl 57, Natasha lvl 49 and fire mc lvl 56. If you dont have acheron, you can try using serval or any other dps.
While i dont have good dmg i make up by eating crit rate food and max health drink. (Blue rarity because im stingy 😅)
First phase is easy, just keep healing, and slowly kill it.
Second phase its hard if you dont know what to do, what i did was NEVER use march ultimate unless to hit the dices, then shield anyone low hp or goibg to die, natasha heals or use attack for skill points.
Acheron can use skill while fire mc can use passive to hit 3.
Try avoiding using the fire mc passive in fight, using skill can avoid it and just waste in on dices.
And on fighting dont use skill unles necessarily because you need to accumulate them when fighting to dices, the only dmg you are going to do is using ultimate of fire mc and acheron.

Well the fight took a while but thats because i used Fu Xian, Luocha, March 7th and Clara. Yes I went more for survivability than outright dps but it worked and tbh March and Clara proved vital to the win.

- you can start focus on 4 character you want to use in this battle (find better relics/ornament/equip)..
- no need to use the same formation as i do, if you have 5star character is more better (argenti, acheron, bailu, gepard, jingyuan, kafka etc)..

@@V4Van I used four different teams in this 2 months at first it was with Blade, Acheron, Bailu and Herta. Then I switched blade with trailblazer destruction, even in the middle I switched to Serval. I used the same team like yours using Sushang, Natasha, March 7th and Serval. That didn't work out too, though I tired to have the same build as yours I just didn't have that many ES. Then with that team Sushang would lose in all or nothing with Natasha always backing her up. So I switched Sushang with Herta. I tired that today thrice it didn't work out either in phase two by 80% they all die.

The funny part is that yesterday, I pulled on Acheron banner to see if I was lucky to get her, but instead I got Yanqing. Thanks to him and physical mc (ofc Nat and March too) I beated Adventurine and also have him guaranteed 😊

The key is to use the ultimate skill with the big range to roll the dice and a healer like natasha, my combinantion is just mc + dan heng + march + natasha with level 60 but I don’t really recommend original dan heng since he can only max roll the dice twice
i have been using danil sparkle tingyun and bailu so basically i fcked up in this boss battle
then i decided to build kafka blackswan lynx and gepard using all my fuels
its does deal small damages but what's important is both my dps have aoe, and 2 sustains do they can protect each other as they dont have aoe
if you always get one hit, just upgrade your helm relics, thats basically my kafka black swan. I need to keep them alive using gepard and lynx heal
This video helped a ton and the comments. I beat this with Natasha March Clara and serval. Make sure you unlock the cleanse traces on both March and Natasha to cleanse people from being imprisoned if they lost the roll! Saved my characters from dying. Serval and Clara despite using her aoe skill probably lost the roll a few times smh.
I lost the first time after using Acheron who is not built. I then switched to a team with my Jingliu (best built dps), Bronya, Fuxuan and Lynx. They carried me through mid game and brought me to victory. Bronya died in the first phase, so it is good to have a support/second dps that you’re okay with sacrificing. It is good to bring characters with blast/AOE attack mechanics and high energy regen. Save AOE/blast ults for the gamble attack. Fuxuan’s ult and Jingliu’s enhanced skill worked for me.
Bronya, Fuxuan Ratio and Pela first time win no casualties but badly bruised overall.
how i beat this boss fight: my team was bailu, march, fire mc(to recover SP, since he can hit all 4 of the dices during second phase, he's optional) and clara. my tips for beating this boss fight are:
- DO NOT shield your healer in 1st phase if you're using march. her skill makes the shielded teammate more likely to be targeted. unless you have a well built gallagher, DON'T SHIELD YOUR HEALER!!!
- for march, only shield characters with aoe attacks(jingyuan, clara, herta etc., preferably chars with followup attacks easy to trigger), since when they're gambling they can hit all dices at once. this is it for 1st phase.
- during second phase, make sure to SHIELD your healer. hit all the dices with your other characters and manage your SP well. from there it becomes a loop. in my team it was dice phase, heal, shield healer with march, follow-up attack does damage when clara gets hit and so on until you beat the boss fight.

@@kyendearing change herta to march7th, march can use shield to boothill(same gameplay as sushang because sushang also single target) and use her ultimate for dice gamble

Both of my team is NOT OPTIMAL (cs I rarely pull) but you need to know that you have to conserve SP while maintaining some survivability & rely on AOE for dmg especially during Aventurine RNG dice rolls attack. Good luck!

Beat this first try with Fu Xuan/Bailu/Clara/Dan Heng IL without having to use Bailu’s revive. It was pretty comfortable throughout without really having to use Bailu’s skill at all. Dan Heng IL never got to do much damage TBH, since I used his Skill Points on the gamble. My tip is to just take it slow with a lot of sustain and have at least 1-2 people who can do AOE attacks, if not someone that can make sure the damage following afterwards isn’t so bad instead. I used Acheron, Pela, Ruan Mei, and Huo Huo to win this fight. Huo Huo with her cleanse is really a lifesaver. Best 5 star healer for me.
I defeated him with this team too, but I replaced Serval and Sushang with fire Trailblazer and Tingyun.

After seeing this I beefed up my aventurines artifacts for a big shield. Went in with Natasha Aventurine Yanqing and Serval. Ended up outsurviving his mechanics. Survivabilty over damage !

This only took me Two tries I thought it would take me a lot of times-
The team I used was, Fire trailblazer, lynx, Kafka. And March.
I used heal with lynx and shielding for lynx when he does the gamble thing.
And the second phase for the gamble thing. I sheilded lynx and March when I didn’t had marches ultimate-
This boss made me want clara, and the game gave me clara... the light cone one. this game is just toying with me man :'((

@@V4Van my man thank you, I finally beat him after 2 hours of trying and rebuilding my team, ended up winning with gepard - natasha - serval - destruction mc. Your tips really helped, and the clara light cone was great for mc's damage.
Not to slander *Our General* but i had a bad experience with Jing Yuan, during the dice phase, Lightning-lord keeps attacking the dice, i was stuck on a loop of my Lightning-lord attacking the dice instead of Aventurine, had to haul out until i got enough ults to finish him, all thanks to the free energy Aventurine gives on the dice phase lmao
I FINALLY MANAGED TO BEAT THIS GUY AFTER BUILDING PELA ISTG WITHOUT HER I WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK ON THIS DAMN BOSS FIGHT FOREVER!
(And just for context both my March and Pela were at lvl 60 and thanks to them constantly freezing the guy I was able to crit with acheron. The team I used was her, pela, March and lynx)
After 10 tries, I finally did it. It takes a bit of luck, 2 sustains, 2 aoe damage dealers.
It takes some time but if you can manage your skill points and ultimates for gamble it works.
It was hairy though. I used Acheron, black swan, links and gepard.
Can use whoever though (I tried a few different comps) Keep trying, it unlocks the rest of the side stuff.
I used Argenti clara loucha and gepard cause my dang Heng kept dying in 2nd phase 😅
Unexpectedly I went through it in first attempt with DOT team with Kafka, Sampo, Ruan Mei and Loucha. It was a tough fight, my Loucha must died in the end. But my team was not the best choice to take there, I was lucky

Yes you can,
I use serval because her eidolon 1 is can hit random enemy with basic attack..
When gamble i only use basic attack, aim middle dice and hit 3 of them(same if i use skill)..
So i can get skill point more,
Your formation will be heavy because all of them is using skill, but still can
I used Bailu, Gepard, Fire TB, and Blade and still died LMAO and the worst part is that first phase took forever to beat and I immediately died at phase two

@@V4Van yeah I changed TB to Jingyuan cuz he’s my only other aoe dps with boss weakness, and I cleared phase 1 faster, but I still died miserably in phase 2
I have Gallagher, Natasha, Lynx, and March, is it better to swap any of the characters for them instead? To ensure survivability
Or you could use Fire MC with 1 healer, and 2 dps that can survive and has aoe

Damn it was worst experience ever. I had only Stelle as Aoe damage dealer and my other team member (Bronya, Sparkle, Gepard) was always nearly to be wiped out. Ill never forget it
Ended up by bringing Natasha with Gepard. My Stelle not wanted to do crits :((
I beated him with Jingyuan, Tingyun, Sparkle and HuoHuo it took me 2 tries with no food buffs
