I always re-read at least one nostalgic book per year! I recently started rereading the original Nancy Drew series, and I am loving it.
I love this idea of re-reading nostalgic books!
as someone who binged all of pjo and hoo for the first time last year (at 23!) i feel like it does stand the test of time!! it was so joyful and i felt like an older sister watching my younger siblings get into shenanigans, pjo is really for everyone!! also my current nostalgia reread is tiger's curse by colleen houck, my favorite series when i was like 13!! is the writing good? no, but the vibes and nostalgia make it worth it :,) highly reccomend!!!
TWO OF THE BEST SERIES TO EVER EXIST!!!!! i think about HOO all the time. there’s nothing like it😍 also there’s truly nothing like the bond between a reader and their favorite book at age 13

As someone who only read Percy Jackson for the first time last year (I’m 26), I can confirm that the entire series stands the test of time so well

I only read the first two Percy Jackson books as a child and watched the movies (and was obsessed)! But I wasn't a huge reader back then so I didn't finish the series. A few months ago after the tv series came out I decided I was going to read the original 5 books and all of the books that come after. So far, i've read all of the PJO books and HOO books, then the demigod files, and now i'm on the second trials of apollo book and plan on reading chalice of the gods and the sun and the star after! Long story short IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!! They really do stand the test of time and i'm loving being immersed in Percy's world. Having so much fun fan casting all of the characters too!! Part of me is glad that I didn't read all of these books when i was younger because I feel like I can take it all in and appreciate them better. Literally so much fun, best decision i've made this summer lol.

I read Percy Jackson to my fourth graders ever years and they always LOVE! It was especially magical with the show coming out as well.
